It has wiped my whole company log in. no reason just says cant find account.
The 24/7 support is a complete lie. No humans to talk to and the bot literally says I cant help you.
Absolutely disgraceful.
The platform itself is great mechanics but there’s a few obviously missing features - proper export all function, limited iPad functionality. Too focussed on AI which doesn’t work that well. Unsubscribe from emails is still broken for the last few months. Customer service and tech support is SHOCKING even on Enterprise- they basically ask you to fix everything yourself and firefight you telling you what you’re doing wrong rather than doing anything about obvious platform bugs.
I’d recommend against using this platform if you can help it, it’s kinda broken and they don’t seem to be in a hurry to do anything about it.
System down for FIVE WEEKS with ZERO support, This company is the worst I have EVER dealt with,, They just DO NOT CARE. !!!
⭐ 1 Star | Extremely disappointing CRM and customer support
I would strongly advise businesses to think twice before choosing monday.com as their CRM.
We have been using monday.com for some time and, unfortunately, it has been one issue after another from the very beginning. Recurring technical problems, broken automations, unreliable activity history and other issues have repeatedly affected our day to day operations.
The past six months have been particularly frustrating. We have reported serious problems multiple times, experienced huge delays in responses, and had issues remain unresolved for months. The lack of urgency, ownership and meaningful support has been extremely disappointing.
And today was the final straw.
After weeks of going back and forth by email with no real progress, we specifically requested a call with someone from the monday.com technical team. Today, that call was handled by an AI assistant instead. We expected to speak to a human being who could properly understand and address serious issues affecting our business. Instead, the experience was extremely poor and incredibly frustrating.
We have now completely lost confidence in the platform and are migrating to another CRM as soon as possible. We have also requested a full refund for the last six months. I can only hope this request will actually be reviewed by a human being and not another AI assistant.
I am leaving this review because I wish we had seen more honest feedback before committing our business to monday.com. Reliability and proper customer support matter far more than a list of impressive features when your business depends on your CRM.
We DO NOT RECOMMEND monday.com to anyone who is taking their business seriously.
We ran all our client projects on here for years, but recent updates have completely tanked usability. You can't click anywhere without dodging unremovable AI prompts or fighting through a cluttered sidebar. Worst of all, their AI bot keeps barging into private client meetings even after we explicitly disabled it in settings. Support has been completely silent, and right now the platform is just overpriced bloat slowing my team down.
This company is destroying my business. I talked my employer into using Monday as a work management platform. Keep in mind they advertise themselves as "Work Management."
Shortly after migrating and adding all of our clients and tasks into Monday, we noticed that tasks weren't populating into the my work section. Monday was not pulling tasks assigned to people where they can see them.
At the top of the screen I kept getting a notice that it only allowed 1000 boards. I only had 250 boards. Tasks were getting missed and clients were getting mad because well, their tasks weren't getting completed.
At this time I reach out to customer service. I send them an email and it took almost a week for them to respond back. The response was an obviously canned email. I respond back, After several back and forth I get an actual employee. He makes me screen record all of these things and then says "your right, you don't have 1000 boards", then he says I am going to have to escalate this to developers.
A week goes by and I get a message from another guy, obviously not a developer, just a so called customer service rep. His first response... the exact same canned email I already got. I responded, and his response, was the exact same canned email for the second time. After several back and forths. He schedules a screen share meeting. In this meeting he confirms, that I do not indeed have 1000 boards, and that there is a problem with tasks being pulled into my work section. At this point he says he is going to reach out to the developers.... 3 weeks have now gone by. On this call the "tech" tries selling me on more services and upgrades. For real? The most basic feature and need of your software doesn't work and you are trying to upsell me?
The customer service rep emails me back saying, its a big problem that happened in the last update and it can't be fixed, but there is a work around. I try the work around, it doesn't work. At this point the person tells me, oh well the work around doesn't work and we can't fix the problem so I am closing this ticket out.
Monday is so focused on pretty colors and AI features that they can't make a work management system that does the very basic and most important thing necessary for a work management system, ability to assign and track tasks.
Just last week we had more than 20 tasks that disappeared into the latest update glitch. That is more than 20 customers I have to do damage control from. Unfortunately, I have to wait for the budget to allow a migration to another work management system.
Upsells,
Pointless AI features
Pretty colors
Terrible, untrained customer service.
Monday is for you.
If you want work assigned promptly and adequately, with little issue. Find a different platform.
We've been using Monday for a few years now. Since they decided to push Ai, the app is getting worse with every update. I can't make a single move without some popup asking if I want an Ai agent to follow up or if I want to "create a vibe board" or whatever other stupid buzzwords they're trying to use. Because of this, things move significantly slower. I can't even upload a PDF without two popups and a wait. I used to love this app. Now I hate it.
If they could give us an option to just use Monday how we were, we'd happily pay extra for that. Instead no, I can't even adjust the sidebar because their Ai options cannot be removed. It's to the point half of our sales team has abandoned using Monday and switched to teams.
As a frequent user of Jira, Monday compares very poorly against it. The logic is flawed and makes the interaction clunky and counter-intuitive. Worst element is the AI agents, which is laughable at best. Unfortunately my company made the switch purely focusing on cost-saving, which makes sense since Monday is an inferior product.
ONLY GOAL IS THEIR REVENUE
Basic features are locked behind paywall, for example teams for guests are in enterprise plan xDDDDD Didn't know that I need a corporation to not tag every client team member separately..
Useless support. It could be AI - no difference.
0,5h to implement feature request waiting for years.
Lack of basics needed to create client facing boards - you need 235209 marketplace apps which of course are in subscription model.
Had an interview at this company about a month ago for a CSM role with Claude Springer — a very unprofessional interview, given how "senior" he was on "paper." The process itself was well structured up to the final round: an initial conversation with the recruiter, followed by interviews with the hiring team, which were professional, engaging, and genuinely positive. I went into the final stage with high expectations.
The final round was with Claude (he had been at the company for less than 8 weeks) for a so called personality-based interview. The experience was very off-putting and intense. He mentioned within the first few minutes that he had been at Monday.com for less than two months — which, for a final-stage interview, raised immediate questions about why he had been chosen for it and why no one else was present. He also implied he was really good at reading people’s personalities, which I found quite judgmental and impulsive.
The tone throughout was casual to the point of being unprofessional; it felt more like an informal chat than a structured interview. Rather than focusing on the role or my experience, he spent considerable time on personal questions under the pretext of “getting to know someone” — including questions about my family, despite the role not reporting to him directly. For example, I was asked to describe a negative trait my wife would use to describe me, to which I answered, “I’m too organized.” He replied, “That’s an interview answer — would you say you’re impulsive?”
I honestly felt like he was finding ways not to hire me just to make a point, even referencing how they had recently hired two females. He also mentioned he used to work at a certain company, and when I said I’d seen they were hiring, he replied, “Are you applying to them?” — which I found very odd and “weird.”
Would suggest they take a look at who they hire
The app was helpful for a specific purpose but it is not worth the upcoming price increase. Our invoice history showed incorrect amounts - every year showing hundreds of dollars more than we ever paid them, which was weird and in no way matched the pricing we were given in our email. There is no way in our account or online with them to mark the subscription to non-renew nor to cancel outright. The chat process took nearly an hour and eventually they said they would send me information I must complete and return to them before they could cancel our account, but if I wanted to cancel 'right now' I just needed to agree to 'waive any and all claims' against them . . . say what??? No legitimate business says that for a simple subscription non-renewal. The whole process was ridiculous and became suspicious. When I insisted the agent fulfil his original offer to email me what he wanted me to complete and return, he said he would and immediately disconnected. Terrible customer service.
I expected better from monday.com but ran into some serious issues with customer support. My questions went unanswered for days, which really slowed down our project. The platform itself has potential, but without adequate support, it feels like a gamble. Not ideal!
We canceled our account months ago yet we can not get their AI call listener to not join our calls. We've reached out to support countless times. We reached out to our sales rep, yet the call listener still tries to join all of our calls.
Working with Monday was a terrible experience that felt misleading at every turn. It is a decent project management tool, but if you're looking for CRM, look elsewhere. The CRM portion is heavily underdeveloped and not thought out well. Hubspot, Salesforce, Zoho or even Attio are all much better.
Worst part of my experience was that when I cancelled my subscription, the Monday notetaker will not leave my calls. I've fully disabled and deleted the extension and integration with my calendar and email but the notetaker still gets on some of my calls.
I've contacted Monday support close to 10 times about this issue and they will not fix it. This is an invasion of my privacy and I've requested multiple times for the notetaker to be reviewed but Monday will not help. Terrible product with worse customer service.
So turned off of this program because it's constantly asking me to upgrade and pay more. Like so many other reviews I've seen... I keep hitting a limit with my current plan and need to upgrade. Already bought the standard plan for a full year. Wish I hadn't jumped in and done that right away. Will NOT be renewing. Don't waste your time setting up all your projects unless you plan to purchase the highest level (Enterprise) right away. I've wasted so much time.
Despite persistent issues, there is no resolution forthcoming. Only promises. This is nearly ongoing for 2 months. Happy to take your money upfront, but when it comes to actual needed, urgent support, you are lucky if they bother to do anything of substance. The level of urgency does not register. Instead you as a customer sit with broken workflows, persistent bugs (without any reason) that no one can figure out or explain, except monday.com. There are other options out there. Do not use monday.com if you are hoping for active support that actually resolves issues timeously. Bad bad choice.
The support is awful, we have been trying to fix an issue for months. It works for a week and then will randomly break. No notifications that it isn't working. Just silence.
I will then contact support, get given a ticket, speak to the same support guy over and over again. It is like they only have one person who can do it?
I then solve the problem myself as support do not help, integration breaks again.
Repeat.
Unbelievable support , as CEO of company I am asking resetting of admin access and it’s almost 72 hours and they can’t change a username and password….
T250k€ worth of data in hands of admin who locked me out !!!!!1 Amazing one - monday.com, never again !!!!!
I want to start by saying that monday.com is genuinely a powerful platform, and for day-to-day work management it has served our nonprofit organization well. That is why this experience has been so frustrating.
The beginning of this week, I was completely locked out of a board that I created, own, and administer. Following a routine workspace move, the system flagged me as "Not Eligible" at the board level — overriding my board ownership and my account admin status entirely. I can view the board but cannot edit it, despite being its creator.
This is not a configuration issue. It is a platform bug.
What makes this worse is the support experience that followed. I contacted monday.com through:
Live chat support — no resolution
A formal support ticket — no resolution
Our sales representative — no resolution
As of today, the issue remains open. I rely on this platform for critical HR workflows and have been left without access to an essential board, with no timeline for a fix.
I understand that bugs happen. What is not acceptable is the inability of multiple support channels to escalate a clear, straightforward technical issue to the engineering team for a backend fix. This should have been resolved quickly.
I hope monday.com takes customer escalations more seriously. For organizations that depend on this platform for mission-critical work, an unresolved bug of this nature is simply not acceptable.

After many attempts for help, support and to communicate how the platform is working , especially the new AI feature, we are repeatedly asked to provide the same details. Very poor support model, cant speak to anyone, everything is done via chats and emails when the matter can be resolved quickly with a call. Considering we want to use the enterprise, I feel this is all about making money and not making partners happy.
