Impossible to cancel
Impossible to cancel. Customer Service is unresponsive. They still charged our card after several emails and phone calls to cancel within the contractual period, and continue to ignore us.

Really difficult and annoying to use I hate it.
Utterly frustrating and time consuming…
Utterly frustrating and time consuming software to use! Our workflow and efficiency dramatically decreased after salesforce was introduced into our organisation.
The interface is counter-intuitive and very annoying.
I wish we never started using this completely irrelevant software package and I can only advise other organisations not to make the same mistake.
Candy Manapat
Since they have changed our account manager to Candy Manapat nothing but pure issues this person should not be representing this business as a customer of over 3 years I have never had our sevice disconnected so much since switching for quarterly to monthly awful awful customer service
If only I could give less
If only I could give less. The slowest, most backwards ancient solution there is. The marketing cloud is decades behind its competitors. Any changes made to one place will require changing everything connected, dynamic content only works after a LONG wait from data cloud, forms cannot be made multi language, and again everything is SO EXTREMELY SLOW. Every move needs its own automation. There are no upsides. If you want to pay this much, give yourself a break and go hubspot. The only good thing they have is a stellar sales team, capable of fooling CEOs into it.
with the new 2FA I now have to do this…
with the new 2FA I now have to do this 30-40 times per day which is extremely annoying and slows productivity.
Update from previous review
Update from previous review. I raised a query online with SF directly. They sent me a case number, and a link to the free trial (which I'd already signed up for) Was merely waiting for the instructions thereafter. They sent a link to a platform called Tableu, which id never heard of. Replied back to them, and they told me to contact my original sales advisor- The one that hasnt responded to my emails. Twice. I mean I have to ask. Is this sheer incompetance, or a deeper issue?
This would be a great product if they…
This would be a great product if they did not try to force you into one your contract. I did a free trial and the sales person didn’t know about the product and then they tried to push me to buy a your contract to get the features and with the account executive, they kept doing the same and they’re just there to take your money, they didn’t follow up. I wrote to them they don’t care so I will never recommend this product to anybody.
I have been a Salesforce customer since…
I have been a Salesforce customer since 2022 and part of the ecosystem since 2020 as a consultant who builds on the platform for other businesses. That context matters, because this experience has genuinely changed how I view the company.
In early July, ahead of a renewal invoice payment, I asked for three things: a small licence reduction based on actual usage, clarification on a pricing increase, and the option to split payment into two instalments. Over the following six weeks, I was passed between three different account contacts, none of whom gave me a clear yes or no. One suggested swapping an unused licence for a product I already had included for free. Another sent a quote for the wrong contract year, increasing the unit price by 17–27% despite my asking to reduce cost. I escalated formally through Salesforce Support, was rerouted to a different internal team, received a single apology and a promise that someone was "already working on this," and then heard nothing further. Meanwhile, automated warnings kept threatening to disrupt my account access, so I ended up paying the full invoice with none of my original questions answered.
I don't write this lightly, given how much time I've invested in this platform professionally. But if a good-faith, straightforward request from a small business customer of four years gets this kind of treatment, it's hard to recommend the experience to others — and I'll be evaluating alternative platforms ahead of my next renewal.
Platform made Wisconsins ( LicensE)
Wisconsin used them to create the application portal (LicensE). It is the worst to navigate. They must be cheapest cause it shows. Navigating it makes you want to kill yourself seriously. Forget guns have your enemies find something on a website this platform created. Rope knot will tie itself. The worst website creators ever. Lord Jesus help them please. What's advertised is Soo far from the experience you will have. Takes 2 hours to find anything. Again calling on Jesus. Tho only one to fix there wrecked creation.
Two days of lost work due to SalesForce Technical Issues...so far!
I have lost two days of work due to SalesForce and their recent "authentication" process that makes it impossible to get into the system. 1) it's almost impossible to reach a human and once you do they can't help you. 2) The customer service people via the 800 number set up a "case" and even a level 2 (or high level) case takes at leaset 2 hours for a response, 3) once you have a human that can supposely help you, they don't really.......they leave you with a promise of resolving it as soon as possible and giving you a 90 window of "no issues".....funny thing is I went through the EXACT same process 19 days ago. I wouldn't waste your money on a tool like this that's supposed to be helping you make money because I'm losing money by the hour.
Lost two days as they have changed…
Lost THREE days as they have changed login to passkeys. 1 cant get it to work 2 they expect me to buy an additional license because im going on holiday and someone else will run the business. We have been using Salesforce for 20 years and now I have to start looking for a replacement
Run don’t walk to any other company, but Salesforce
I wish I would’ve read these reviews before I jumped in because I would’ve avoided an extremely expensive mistake. I own a small business and we were using Zoho and thought we should go with the industry leader. How the heck did Salesforce become an industry leader? We explained exactly what we needed and they sold us a solution that appeared affordable. It is an extremely difficult and non-intuitive platform. They immediately tried to sell us another company’s service to transfer our data, but we thought we should be able to do that, we have technology expertise. I have a masters in computer science with an emphasis on relational data bases. Nope! They don’t make anything easy. Finally we did have to hire the company to move our data over and as we were working through all the details, we talked about the most important thing being sending out our bulk emails every week. It was the reason we were switching because we wanted awesome analytics. We had explained this to the sales person, including that we send 16,000 emails a week. And we assumed the solution would allow us to do what we asked them for. Nope. As we worked with this other company, they told us that the version they sold us would not allow us to send more than a few thousand emails a month. We would have to upgrade! More money! When we went back to Salesforce and said we wanted to cancel and that they did not come through with a solution that met our requirements, they pretty much said too bad. They have now turned us over to a collections company that is saying we have to show proof that they didn’t come through for us. Sadly, I don’t record all of my conversations with sales people. We are a small company and I am not sure hiring an attorney to fight. This is going to be worth it… And they know that… So they are just praeying on small businesses. Disgusting and unethical. Bottom line is run, Don’t walk to any other company and forget Salesforc. Zoho is looking better and better to us.
The Salesforce Lightening calendar is…
The Salesforce Lightening calendar is just plain AWFUL!! Why not go back to classic Salesforce calendar. So many people have complained about this new calendar. Slows down my time at work because of this. Not user-friendly at all.
My experience with Salesforce has been…
My experience with Salesforce has been extremely disappointing. After several years of storing valuable client and business data on the platform, I lost access to information that was critical to my business. I do not believe I was adequately informed that this data could become permanently inaccessible, particularly while I was actively working to address account payment issues.
What makes this situation even more frustrating is that I entered into a payment arrangement through a collections agency and worked in good faith to pay off the outstanding balance. At no point during that process do I recall being notified that my account would be deleted or that the data associated with it would be permanently removed. I only discovered that my account and data were no longer available after I had completed payment of the balance.
The loss of several years of client records and business information has had a significant impact on my operations, client relationships, and revenue. In my view, Salesforce failed to communicate clearly about the status of my account, the retention of my data, and any actions that could result in its permanent deletion. Had I been properly informed, I would have taken steps to preserve and back up my information.
What has been most frustrating is the lack of a satisfactory resolution despite repeated attempts to address the matter. For a company of Salesforce's size and reputation, I expected far better communication, transparency, and customer support.
As a result of the substantial losses I believe this situation has caused my business, I am seeking compensation and a meaningful resolution from Salesforce. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Salesforce to businesses that depend on long-term access to critical data and clear communication regarding account and data retention policies.
Great CRM and easy to use.
Great CRM! It makes it super easy to track leads, deal closures, and the buyer's journey. My only complaint is that the subscription price is a bit too high.
Utterly rubbish......
Utterly rubbish......
When will organisations learn that when you have a problem you need to speak to a person not some AI agent that sends you round in circles wasting your time.
For note, considering what salesforce is meant to be then having a trustpilot rating as low as this is shameful.
Must do better...MUCH BETTER
Utterly the worst software experience of my life
Salesforce was one of the most expensive mistakes of my life.
Their sales associate convinced me to upgrade to an enterprise account and to build out a custom portal (User Experience) for my sales reps. After more than $10k of development, it became apparent that the portal would not meet our needs, and it was abandoned.
Then, Salesforce would not allow us to revert to a more affordable plan that would meet our needs.
Now I'm trying to migrate to Hubspot and just learned that Salesforce has deleted all of our data!
I would have gladly paid $50k to have avoided Salesforce in the first place.
Salesforce Lightning is a major step…
Salesforce Lightning is a major step backward.
Lightning has significantly slowed down my turnaround time with clients. What used to be a fast, efficient process in Salesforce Classic now takes much longer. In Classic, I had everything I needed right at my fingertips to quickly pull quotes, answer questions, and move deals forward.
Even after multiple "fixes," data manipulations, and updates from Salesforce, Lightning remains frustratingly slow and clunky. It feels far more like an administration tool than an actual sales platform. If they had just left Classic alone (or at least made Lightning as intuitive and fast), this would be a much better product.
Very disappointed, I strongly recommend sticking with Classic if you still can.
we made the worst decision ever years…
we made the worst decision ever years ago to switch to sf and it had put our company on a terrible path. id be better on paper
