Update!
I got help soon after I posted this review. THANK YOU! I’m so grateful for the help I received. From 2 to 5 ⭐⭐⭐️⭐️⭐️
Case number 01787541 and 01789533.
I’m really hoping someone from Magnific can help me. I’m sorry to contact you again, but I first reached out regarding this on October 27 at 10:50 AM and I haven’t received a response yet. I completely understand that support requests can take time, but I’m honestly feeling extremely anxious about this because of the amount involved, and I’m really hoping someone can help me. I accidentally purchased 1,000,000 extra credits after misunderstanding the EUR amount and believing I was spending around SEK 1,000. I only realised afterwards that I had actually been charged around SEK 10,000. I would never intentionally have purchased such a large credit package. Before realising my mistake I had used around 7,000 credits, but I immediately stopped. More than 99% of the credits remain completely unused.I contacted support immediately and have followed up, but I still haven’t received a response from a person. I’m honestly extremely anxious about this, as SEK 10,000 is a very significant amount of money for me.I’m not asking to get anything for free – I’m completely happy for the credits I used to be deducted. I’m simply asking Magnific to please remove the remaining unused credits and refund the unused portion as a goodwill exception.I really hope someone from Magnific sees this and can help me.
One of the main reasons I chose Magnific was its node-based interface. It’s intuitive, straightforward and genuinely enjoyable to work with. The user interface and AI tools themselves are good, and I have no major complaints about the actual creative experience.
Unfortunately, almost everything surrounding the subscription, billing and customer support has been extremely frustrating.
I initially subscribed in August and paid £38.40. My credits appeared to be depleting much faster than expected. When I investigated, the credit figures displayed on my dashboard, within my Spaces, and in the spreadsheets generated by Magnific’s AI chatbot did not match.
I contacted support several times. I was given multiple spreadsheets containing different figures, and even when I repeatedly queried these discrepancies, I couldn’t get a consistent explanation.
Magnific eventually offered a refund, but this took considerably longer than the stated processing timeframe. When I contacted AI chatbot support, I was told to check with my bankas the delay could be on their end. I did. My bank confirmed that no refund had arrived and advised me to consider raising a retail dispute. I began that process, and notified Magnific, who sent me another credit note and processed the refund within less than 5 days.
I subsequently subscribed again, paying another £38.40. I have not used the subscription credits and have only used the Unlimited feature to a very limited extent. Despite paying for this second subscription, my account has now been downgraded to the free plan, leaving me without access to the service I purchased.
What makes this particularly frustrating is that I only discovered the loss of access when I needed Magnific for deadline-driven professional work. I now have to find alternative ways to complete tasks that I had already planned around a service I had paid to use. This means reorganising my workflow, finding replacement tools and losing valuable working time, all because I cannot rely on my existing subscription.
It is particularly disappointing given the wider promise of artificial intelligence. We are embracing these tools because they are supposed to enhance our workflows, reduce unnecessary repetitive work and allow us to concentrate on more meaningful tasks. Yet my experience with Magnific has been the opposite. Instead of making my work easier, I have spent an unreasonable amount of time investigating credit discrepancies, chasing refunds, contacting my bank and trying to regain access to a paid account.
I pay for these tools personally because I rely on them to support my professional projects. I should not have to repeatedly fight to access something I have already purchased. All this has been done with no notification at all.
Communication is also inconsistent. Response times vary, and when you’re working to deadlines, you cannot reliably know when an issue will be resolved.
What makes this particularly disappointing is that I actually like the product. The node-based workflow is one of its strongest features, and the creative tools have real potential. However, a good product is not enough if the billing, subscription management and customer support are this difficult to deal with.
I'm now waiting for Magnific to reinstate my second paid subscription and provide a clear explanation of what has happened.
The creative experience is good. The customer experience surrounding it has been anything but.

Hello!) I’m a content creator from Belarus. Although Payoneer has ceased operations in Belarus, my account was transferred to another country, and payments continue to arrive. However, customer support refuses to process withdrawals, citing the fact that Belarus is still listed as the country of residence (billing country), or they demand proof of residence in that other country. In other words, I cannot withdraw funds to my own personal Payoneer account, yet it is possible to withdraw to a third-party Payoneer account (via intermediaries)—and this can be done even without providing a certificate of tax residency! It’s a strange situation; I really don’t know what else to say about it.

My account was just hacked, and the AI chatbot is useless when it comes to a serious problem like this. With more than €1,300 in damages, the hacker keeps playing around with my account while I have to wait 48 hours for assistance and a review. The site’s security also seriously needs to be reviewed. My case is still not resolved.

easy to use but the AI has lots of very heavy handed moderated restrictions, even if just for personal use. For the premium price they charge, this is a big issue.
Also they change rules on a whim and without any notice or warning. For instance they included a particular model in the "unlimited" feature that I use a lot, then suddenly they removed it.
Some shady practices TBH. Be careful as they charge outrageous costs but backtrack on features once they have taken your money.

I've been a customer with Freepik/Magnific for 4 years, and I'm about to renew for a 5th year; however, my recent experience with the platform has led me to cancel my subscription.
Problems began when they changed their Mockup generator to use AI only - this has become unusable as it hallucinates the product image. I've had to go back to using Canva for this. When I made an enquiry with customer services it took days to hear back from them.
More recently I set-up a workflow using their Spaces feature, throughout the course and their messaging, they encourage you to let the assistant run.
DO NOT DO THIS
It blasted through 41k credits - WITHOUT WARNING - when I complained to Support I was initially told to apply for a Credit refund, it has taken me nearly 2 weeks to get a response, and even then it took several back-and-forth messages for the team to understand what had happened (despite screenshots and the chat history - if you can understand this review, you're already doing better than Magnific)
Instead of apologising for a glaring error in the workflow process. and despite the fact that I've been a customer for many years, the response was: Sorry, we can't refund you, ask the AI next time!
So if you're a first-time user of this function, like I was - there is NO support if the system screws up.
I'm sad to cancel my membership, but it's clear that there's no loyalty to long-term customers, and no leeway if their AI makes mistakes. I will be using Google Flow in future.

Edit - As you can see from their reply - Magnific would rather lose a customer than keep one. Revised to 1 star because of their dismissive attitude.

Terrible company, barely used my account and told them i was not interested in their service as it didnt live up to what they were promoting.
I didnt realise the free trial i was getting actually ended up being a paid plan and $75 NZD was taken out of my account i wanted a refund they refused so i have raised disputes with paypal and my credit card company.
They have ignored my emails, so i will be happy to remove this feedback when they bother replying to me. All i want is my refund then this problem will go away. The support service is terrible as well.
They have also locked me out of the account so couldnt use the service even if i wanted to. But i dont!
My ticket support number is: 01768510
If i could upload screenshots i would.
Edited: This company just sent me a email advising my account is banned so they take the money then lock you out of your accounts stay right away from this company.

pros first - the app itself is good... easy access to variety of image models... but communication is the worst... i wanted to renew my annual plan - magnific offered me a 20% discount - when it came to payment it switched back to normal pricing...did a screenshot of the magnific pricing page with the discount pops up prominently - send it to customer support.....via chat "we open a case, a human will take care" ten seconds later mr. e**gar replied via email " sorry there are currently no promos, subscribe to our newsletter" - i repeated the procedure with the same result..... nice!!!!!! a few days after my first attempt no personal response!!!!!

DO NOT TRUST THEM WITH YOUR MONEY
I purchased a Magnific subscription exclusively for the Product Ad from One Photo service. I was allowed to make only a few generations, after which the service simply stopped working.
Moreover, it gives me the impression that I was deliberately allowed to use up a small amount of tokens, after which the feature stopped working. This looks particularly suspicious in the context of my refund request: if a customer has already used some of their tokens, the company may then use that as a reason to refuse a refund. I have the impression that this was done intentionally rather than being an ordinary technical failure.
I contacted customer support (Case #01760862), and they acknowledged that the problem was on their side. I was told that the service would be fixed soon. In the end, it was never fixed.
Meanwhile, my subscription continued to run. In other words, I was losing paid subscription time while being unable to use the feature I had specifically purchased the subscription for.
I requested a refund, but my request was simply ignored. Nobody even responded to me regarding the refund, despite the website stating a 48 hour response time. Instead of receiving a refund, I received yet another message saying that the service would be fixed “very soon.”
It wasn't fixed. My money wasn't refunded. My paid subscription time continued to expire.
After that, I read reviews from other users and saw that similar situations had been described repeatedly. Therefore, what is happening starts to look not like an isolated technical failure, but like deliberately misleading customers: the company sells access to a service that is effectively not working, acknowledges the problem, continues charging customers, and at the same time does not provide refunds to customers who did not receive the service they paid for.
Based on my experience, this already looks like an actual scam and a deliberate disregard for customers' interests. You pay for a specific tool, and in the end you get a non-functioning service, promises that it will be fixed “very soon,” an ignored refund request, and lost paid subscription time.
I would also like to highlight this truly “impressive business strategy”: selling customers paid access to a service that stops working, continuing to charge them for a non-functioning service, and then simply refusing to return their money.

For surface texture and for any type of painting style, this software can be used. I have just tested for impasto heavy-bodied oil painting with steel palette knife application, and the results are satisfactory. For other painterly styles, I will see how far it can align with our instructions.

Imported visual prompts into Magnific were accurately incorporated into a prompt. The resulting composite image was very accurately produced.

I've been with them for about 15 years. A great, supportive team, frequent discounts, and plenty of tools for photo editing and AI
