I used this app and pre-booked my parking, then got charged the full amount to leave the car park. I was trapped in there unless I paid again, and ParkBee support would not help me out. Hoping I receive a refund!
ZERO
ZERO. I couldn't ger out for 30 minutes. All past experience were equally bad. Do not recommended. Never again.
This company is a scam
This company is a scam. After reading all the negative experiences from other customers I've decided to cancel my booking. What they don't tell you is that you don't get a full refund. They have the audacity to keep a service fee. This was nowhere made clear during the booking. Shame on you!

I paid through the app booked for 3 h in a car park in Manchester
When I arrived , according to the app instructions I press button in the app for open the gate
But it did not responded
Then I asked the staff through intercom explain I paid and book a space there
However the staff said I need to get a ticket at the gate in order to get in and he won’t open for me without getting ticket there
In order not to obstruct other car I get a ticket there
As I got a ticket I thought I need to paid in order to left and avoid a fine
That made me paid double the price and I omit in the app to stop and ask the gate open to let me go
After I arrived home I found the app still count me still left the car in the car park
But actually I left before the end time
And the app just continued to add extra time for me to pay and you cannot stop it.
This app and company only stand on their benefits but ignore customers need

Could not enter prepaid garage
reservation and payment made in advance. Parking door did not open. Website did not offer any help. Only NL language. “Chat” isn’t a chat but an FAQ only. Phone support on the website did not work. Luckily there was a phone number on the parking side itself. This did work and the customer service person was very helpful.
Update:
Could not leave the parking area, too.

Frustration
I booked and paid in advance for a parking spot in London – 100 miles from home - to attend a funeral. The account is in my name and the app on my phone. On the day I was not well and my husband drove up on his own. I tried to find out whether he would be able to get into the space without the app. I truly spent the WHOLE of the next 2 and a half hours, while he was driving, on line or on the phone (a struggle to find a UK phone number) trying to find out how he should access the space. And failing. Just confusion, delay, missing promised emailed instructions, contradictory advice and unhelpfulness. My husband, by this time late for the funeral, decided to see what would happen if he just drove up to the barrier. It opened and he parked with ease. But of course we didn’t know if the venue had registered our payment or if we would subsequently get a ticket.
So not only are ParkBee difficult to get hold of, and unhelpful when you reach them, they appear not to know how their own system works. It could have been such a good experience if they had just told me to start with that was all he had to do and spared me the waste of 2 and a half frustrating hours. I have been in touch since, and they appear mystified as to why I am cross about it. I offered them the chance to read this before I posted it and they were not interested. Remarkable.

Booked and Charged to park at Bigbury…
Booked and Charged to park at Bigbury Beach car park (Devon) in what was clearly stated through Parkbee, as a ‘Reserved’ space on their website. It did not exist, the parking attendants told us the carpark was full, the ‘reserved’ spaces do not exist and that we were not the only ones caught out that day and that we had simply paid far too much for the parking. How is this not classed as a scam?

If I could give less I would
If I could give less I would
Two car parks I use
One for long stays one for short
The long stay at Central park in Leeds the barrier doesn't work on exiting so you have to close your session, reopen it, then drive through and then recluse it. Irritating as heck. They know about this and refuse to fix it.
Now onto their short stay granary wharf
Paid 2 hours 7.30-9.30am
Entered around 8am, left around 9.10. Physio appointment other end of town at 9.30 and I've been using my car all weekend
According to the company however I drove back in at 9.18 and I'm still parked there.
Auto bot says it will pass me over. Clearly to the invisible man as no answer
See you in court. I can prove quite easily my car isn't in your carpark

Paid £40.22 when max cost is £29.
Paid £40.22 through ParkBee for Q-Park OMNi Edinburgh. On arrival, the car park’s own maximum daily tariff was £29. ParkBee confirmed they use their own pricing, which can be higher than paying at the machine. Check the official car park price before booking.

Car BROKEN INTO, ZERO accountability.
Car BROKEN INTO, ZERO accountability.
We parked at one of parkbee parking for 5 days during a trip to Amsterdam. When we returned to pick up the car, the front window had been smashed and items had been stolen from inside.
We immediately went to the parking staff for help, but their response was simply, "It's NOT our problem." They told us there are no security cameras inside the parking, so they couldn't do anything to help us.
To make matters worse, they still CHARGED us the FULL parking FEE despite what had happened. Paying for supposedly secure parking only to come back to a vandalized car and receive zero support is completely unacceptable!!!!!
If a parking facility can't guarantee basic security or even monitor break-ins on its own property, it shouldn't be operating as a paid parking service. We paid for a safe place to leave our car and got a broken window, stolen belongings, and a bill with no accountability whatsoever!!!
AVOID this place if you actually care about your car and your belongings.

1 star scammers
1 star - beware of scamming
The parking site itself is fairly easy to use, but I have a serious issue with how it handles bookings. It seems to use your current location rather than the location of the car park, which is very confusing and, frankly, ridiculous.
For example, if you're in New York and book parking in London for 9:00–17:30 the next day, it appears to convert that to 2:00–10:30 in London. That can’t be right. Bookings should always be based on the local time of the car park.
I ended up losing two hours because the booking system used my local time zone instead of the car park's local time. I was flying in the next day.
Their response is frankly laughable: "It's because the platform also supports features such as finding parking near your current location".
They could have simply said, "Sorry, here's your £5.00 refund." Instead, they chose not to - so here's a 1-star review in return.

Avoid. Really awful
Avoid. I would give minus stats if I could.
Failed to provide instructions of how to reach the car park (including driving by a “traffic prohibited” sign and over a pedestrianised area) and failed to provide the code needed to move bollards some 200metres before the car park
The people manning the buzzer at the bollards and the hotel staff (who owned the car parking space) refused to give me the code. Three (!!) ParkBee phone numbers just cut out when rang and this included one on a Park Bee sign at the entrance to the cat park. I can’t see why it was there at all.
“Help” was provided by a WhatsApp system (always ridiculous when you have an urgent problem) by someone who took 20 minutes per message to respond. Lots of lovely words. No actual help when you are trying to enter a car park in central London.
It is yet another company happy to take your money but who care very little indeed about customers getting what they paid for.
Avoid, avoid, avoid.

Brilliant service
I used Park Bee for the first time this minute and it was excellent. Easy to see the range of parking options (in Edinburgh), book and pay. Really good communication from confirmation of booking to reminders on the run up to the day of use. Excellent info on how to get to the car park, open the barriers and then leave.

No one to help if something goes wrong
Everything went wrong! I booked to park at Leeds Granary Wharf. I received an email confirmation saying that I needed to download the app to access the parking instructions, so I did this.
I then drove two hours from Lincolnshire to Leeds however it was a super hot and my phone overheated, so when I arrived at the parking barrier my phone had over heated and wouldn’t open the app.
I went onto the ParkBee website to see if there was a contact number or another way I could access the parking instructions- nothing.
So I got out the car and managed to find a number on the parking barrier and rang them to explain the situation. Unfortunately they said that they’d need to send an engineer out which could take up to an hour. After driving for two hours after work on a scorching hot day that’s the last thing I wanted to hear and I didn’t have time for that.
So I ended up going and finding somewhere else to park, which mean rather than spending £15 on parking I spent £30.
Only being able to access the parking via an app is ridiculous but not having a helpline was just the cherry on top.
This is the first time used parking bee and I won’t be using them again.

€49 for 5 hours parking is very, very expensive.

Fantastic Customer Service
1st time using them and as a typical bloke, I didn't read their instructions on how to use the app.
Got charged by parkbee and I paid to get out of the car park. Contacted Parkbee, told them what had happened and it was my fault, but asked if the could do anything. They replied with in 10 mins with a resolution!!!
Fantastic customer service

Be careful when using this company.
You have to be careful when using this company. They do not guarantee a booked space is free and available to use when you book. They simply say it is the property owners responsibility and they have no control. They only a payment vehicle…
