Great interface, useful and exactly what I needed in order to sell my courses

After several years with Podia, I’ve decided to leave.
The recent changes have fundamentally altered the relationship between creators, customers and the platform. Shared accounts, shared passwords, mixed notifications and one-click access between different creators’ communities — including competitors — are simply not what I signed up for.
I chose Podia as a tool to run my own business, not as a social network.
What is most disappointing is that these major changes were imposed with no warning, despite the many concerns raised by creators.
I’m now facing a long and difficult migration because I no longer feel comfortable building my business on a platform whose strategic direction I no longer trust.

I chose Podia over Thinkific, Kajabi (the "big" names) for a few reasons:
1 - ease of set-up. It beats both Thinkific and Kajabi for both course and website set-up
2 - pricing. Thinkific and Kajabi seem to constantly change their pricing and set what I believe are unreasonable limits or force a move up to a much higher priced tier (think $299 per month to get what I get in Podia at $80 per month)
3 - they are evolving and improving all the time, so much so that I was able to get off my GetResponse email software at approx. $95 CAD per month and move to Podia email for about $11 CAD per month
4 - their support is OUTSTANDING. Do not underestimate the importance of quick response times when you are grinding through course, website and backend admin set-up
5 - Built with intuitive use in mind. They have a team that knows how user unfriendly some of the more established (read that to mean older and unnecessarily complex) tools are out there such as "Confusionsoft" aka Infusionsoft, and also GetResponse. Podia email is the richest email tool I have tried out that has most features and retains an intuitive ease of use.
As a former IT Project Manager of over 15 years I've done my due diligence on over 6 learning management systems and over 10 email automation tools and Podia offers the best for all of these.

I so appreciate that the Podia real-person team responds so immediately, and I mean within a minute or two, when the docs or AI aren't answering my question, and that they help me with such patience and provide such clear solutions. No support tickets, no waiting, no sending boilerplate responses... Their customer service is extraordinary, and adds a lot to their already user-friendly platform.

Best customer service ever. They help you quickly with any tech problems. The AI chat does it instantly. And if it can’t resolve it you are escalated immediately.

We spent forever trying to duct-tape random forum plugins, email tools, and payment setups together, and it was driving my mod team crazy. Moving over here cut out all that backend noise, and the automated sales pages made opening up new tiers painless since members can actually navigate them without DMing us for help. The highlight was fixing our custom domain DNS—Rodrigo on chat sorted the records in literally two minutes without hitting me with a useless generic script. If you're sick of babysitting broken integrations just to run a private group, this is definitely the move.

Before Podia, I had a hodgepodge of platforms, apps, and software duct-taped together. Podia let me eliminate most of that costly tech stack and move much faster. I learned the value of speed the hard way years ago when I spent almost a year learning the technology to launch a membership, and by the time I launched, the crest of that wave had passed. Now I can literally build a course in five minutes—and have! Podia handles the money and delivery, and my business is open 24/7, allowing me to travel almost half the month without interrupting services for my members.

Podia isn't just where I sell courses. It's become the backbone of my full-time business and part of how I've redesigned my practice so technology handles more of the repetitive work. I now recommend it to clients launching online products and to clinicians who want to automate parts of what they do, even with in-person clients. I accomplish more in far less time because I'm doing my work instead of managing technology.

I have used Podia to host a number of my online courses and communities for years. Their platform is user friendly and my students get to grips with it very easily. The Podia team are always super helpful and if I have a query or concern they get back to me very quickly and always explain things in a really simple manner. I have been a certified Podia Pro for a few years now and I can honestly say I don't want to build for my clients on any other platform. Not only is it incredibly easy to use as a designer... but I can actually hand over a website to my client that THEY can edit afterwards (I can't say the same for when I was building on other platforms). Rodrigo from Podia was so responsive and helpful. I was having trouble setting up DNS records and in two steps he resolved the issue.

Also, I have to rave about Podia in general. I just switched from a much more complicated platform. It was holding me back because I couldn't get it just right with the email automations, links etc. and I'm pretty tech savvy. With Podia, I was able to set up my website in a weekend! When you add products, they automatically create a sales page! So much is already preset and done for you I'm blown away! Call me a new THRILLED Podia customer.

The backend is clunky and basic.
I have tried to get help on multiple occassions when i have started to send emails for a launch where they restricted my reach. I understand trying to teach how to not spam, but i was trying to send different emails to different groups of people. The chatbot was unhelpful and i had to wait 6 hours and still no response from a human. Frustrating after paying for a membership and still having restrictions.

Got some problems with AI. Guess support needs to get better.

I like Podia, I really do, but then it went sideways. I recently had a launch that almost didn't happen because I couldn't get my sales page done in time. The conflicting answers of how to do exactly what I wanted caused a lot of frustration and lack of progress on my part. Then, when I needed help to add a Google Tag to my site because I was running Google ads in advance of the launch, they didn't bother answering my email at all. Leaving for a competitor and won't be coming back.
