I contacted this company as I needed an upgrade from 1tb to 2tb to MAC desktop, they kindly informed me they did not do upgrades, that was fine. I am now looking for a desktop with 2tb so I thought I would look on here, I now find I am blocked, why just for making an enquiry. very disappointed to say the least!

Ordered a laptop which I didn’t need to use immediately and discovered a fault later when I did use with the charging ports which just did not work correctly. When I tried to resolve a hardware issue later I believed they would uphold the 1 year warranty which is a lie. Told it was “wear and tear” and that I’d be charged up £75 just to assess it. Scam artists who clearly don’t fully ensure their devices work correctly before selling them, and then do everything possible to over charge to shift responsibility and dissuade you from enforcing the warranty they offer. Avoid and go with someone else.

It is worth noting that you first notified us of the reported fault after approximately three months of using the laptop.
We would like to clarify that we were willing to repair the laptop, as the unit was still covered by its warranty. We had arranged collection so that our Technical Support Team could inspect the reported charging issue and determine the cause of the fault.
I have also been informed by our Technical Support Team that you cancelled the collection that had been arranged for the repair. You were happy to proceed with the collection, and the collection was arranged for 3rd September as you were continuing to use the laptop until then.
The warranty exclusions should also not have come as a surprise, as these are clearly outlined on our warranty page. We provide this information to customers upfront to ensure our warranty terms are transparent and customers are aware of what is and isn’t covered before purchasing.
The £75 charge mentioned in our email would only apply if the inspection found the issue to be caused by user damage, wear and tear, liquid damage, or another fault outside the warranty coverage. It was not a charge simply for assessing a genuine warranty issue.
We were prepared to inspect and repair the laptop under warranty where the fault was found to be covered.

Laptop broke
Bought a laptop at the end of 2025 and quickly it developed a line through the screen. After 3 months it stopped working so I sent it back to be fixed, which they did. It worked for a few more months but every time I logged in I had to enter the bitlocker key as evidently they hadn't tightened some screws correctly on the back of the laptop. Eventually it stopped charging. I had about 6 months of good use out of it.

Amazing quality laptop
Bought the hp elitebook 840 G8 in excellent condition, the laptop came in 4 days as I bought it on Friday and dhl doesn’t deliver on weekend which is not slow at all. The laptop came in prestine condition with no marks at all except for some chips on the bottom of the laptop on the support extensions which don’t matter in any way at all. Additionally I can tell the keyboard rest board has been replaced as the elitebook wording is missing which is no problem at all.

I ordered a MacBook from Stone Refurb and everything is great. However, I previously ordered the same MacBook from Back Market and they wasted my time suspended my account and refused a refund. I’ve now opened a dispute. Stone Refurb is much better as they have independent engineers.

I was a little nervous about buying a refurbished laptop, but I honestly couldn't be happier with my experience. I ordered a Grade B laptop and was amazed when it arrived – it genuinely looks brand new! I can't find a mark on it.
The laptop was excellent value for money, arrived quickly, was well packaged and was exactly as described. The whole ordering process was straightforward, and I'd definitely buy from Stone Refurb again.

I only needed a basic nothing fancy…
I only needed a basic nothing fancy laptop. It was rates as a C which mmeant fair quality cosmetically. This didn’t bother me if it had and scratches or marks as long as it worked.
When I got it delivered 2 days later (speedy delivery) I was shocked at what was classed as C rated as there wasn’t a mark on it at all!!
I have had it for nearly a week now and it’s all good so thank you 😊

Smooth service and a great laptop
Really happy with my purchase. I was looking for a decent refurbished laptop without spending too much.
The website was easy to use, ordering straightforward, and the laptop arrived the next day. I was apprehensive about ordering a Grade B laptop, but decided to go for it. I was expecting a tired looking machine with internals that work really well. What I received was a laptop that looks and works pretty much brand new.
I'll definitely use the company again for other tech purchases.

I couldn't be happier with my experience.
The laptop arrived very well packaged and was delivered promptly by DHL. I was genuinely delighted with the quality and condition of the Dell Latitude. It was described as Grade C, but in my opinion it was in far better condition than expected, almost like new. The battery health was also excellent, which was a real bonus.
There was one small issue when the wrong power lead was supplied. However, this is where Stone Refurb really impressed me. I contacted customer support and was dealt with by Marianne, who replied within minutes. She immediately arranged for the correct lead to be sent out by DHL, and it arrived the very next day. Mistakes can happen with any company, but it's how they're dealt with that really matters, and their customer service was outstanding.
From start to finish, the communication, professionalism and support were first class. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Stone Refurb to anyone looking for a quality refurbished laptop. Based on my experience, they offer excellent value for money and genuinely outstanding customer service.
