Indispensable
This is an amazing product. Once you get used to the interface you realise how flexible and comprehensive it is. I use it every day to keep track of investments, and frankly can’t do without it. The support is also superb - Peter recently diagnosed and solved an issue for me in no time at all. Highly recommended.

As some others have found, after twenty years, the transition from legacy Sharescope has not been easy. Peter tailors his support to your needs and does not make you feel stupid if you have to repeat the same question. The program is obviously tailored to professional investors. I wonder if there would be scope for a more basic version in the future?

My experience with Sharescope.
What I like is that the judgement about a listed enterprise is based on ratio’s which are derived from accountancy. That suits me very well as I have (a long time ago) studied economics and obtained a college degree. Accountancy was an important item on the curriculum. In this matter Sharescope is a very interesting reference point.

Conversion from Legacy Sharescope was straightforward and went without a problem. A free session with a member of the staff set up the new layout best meeting my needs using Teams. The new system leans more towards traders but is not so good for just managing a portfolio that has a few trades per year. Many of the features that suited me on the old system have gone so I am a bit disappointed with the new system. I have to give credit to the software team for making the transition software easy to use and fault free. Customer support during transition was very good

I wouldn't be without Sharescope
As a long time investor I wouldn't be without Sharescope.
It starts at 7.00am with all the RNS news, so keeping me up to date with all investments news. It continues with 15 minute delayed prices throughout the day, so I know how my investments are performing.
Portfolio management allows me to keep track of dividends received, and calculate capital gains, and annual income reports.
Sharescope has great charting, company financial information, director's dealing, etc.
On top of that there is a great filtering system. So need stocks paying a 5% dividend yield, Sharescope does it. Need high growth stocks at a reasonable price, Sharescope does it.
Love it.

As a new user of ShareScope I found it really helpful to have a personal introductory training session with Peter included with the subscription.
