the vendor mindrift block me from uhrs sigin for no reasons! and i have already committed 15,000 crawls using their desktop crawler, so my real mobile data bundle is lost and no any pay from my commitment, this is abuse and fraud from random people knowing they cant do anything!

the jobs themselves arent available after completing tests, such bad bad platform waste of time, they abuse free labor to train their A.I! those who got jobs are victims of survivorship bias

Honestly i feel frustrated offlate have been doing exams for project you approve but no tasks i feel like have been wasting time when itry to talk to a human no one is available am still seeing projects but it's saying no tasks for now why waste our time doing exam knowing very well there are no tasks to do

The platform is really good, and they actually pay. I had a couple of experiences I wish I hadn't had—for example, I had money from tasks that were still pending review. I notified the person in charge to review them, but they never did. After a month (or more), they simply rejected all my tasks, and as a result, the pending payment wasn't “approved.” The tasks were fine (the LLM that reviews them marked them as good); it was just a matter of accepting the task. I also feel like there are few projects, or they don’t fully explain how to earn other qualifications and gain access to more projects. Overall, the platform is very good, but I’d understand if people feel overwhelmed if they can’t find tasks at first.

Some projects are genuinely worth it and well paid. But the number of ghost projects and projects that pay incredibly low are high making it harder to know which ones to put in the effort for. Payments arrive in reasonable time and a lot of times you don’t need to have some special qualification

Very disappointing experience. I spent hours taking qualification exams but never received any clear feedback or work opportunities. The tests seem endless, and it feels like a lot of time is wasted with no transparency about the results. I cannot recommend this platform based on my experience.

SCAM! The recruited me on upwork for a special skills project. They extended an Upwork contract with a ridiculous hourly pay. I sent an email and asked why. They said that the contract's correct hourly rate would appear once I signed up on their platform (Mindrift). I asked for the hourly pay to be updated on the Upwork contract. They stopped responding. They only responded to one email repeating that the hourly rate will appear on THEIR PLATFORM. Also after accepting their offer and signing up on their platform no contract appeared and of course no job. They asked to verify my id through PERSONA. They are a big scam! The only jobs that appear on my view are extremely low paying jobs who are also quite difficult to get right and therefore get paid for. I don't know if they are collecting people's personal data or if they do mass recruitment in order to get people on the platform where they tell them that "they might as well do the low paying tasks to keep earning until they get matched with a task reflecting their skills" ... when it comes up. Complete scam. TO ANSWER THE BELOW COMMENT. I WAS IN DIRECT CONTACT WITH YOUR RECRUITER ON UPWORK WHO DID NOT RESPOND DESPITE MY SEVERAL MESSAGES. WHY SHOULD I ADDRESS MYSELF TO SUPPORT! THIS IS JUST SCAM ON YOUR SIDE TO GET PEOPLE TO THINK THAT THIS IS SOME MISTAKE. RANA BARAKLI WAS THE RECRUITER WHO CONTACTED ME.

Inaction in fixing identity verification errors (resulting in inability to access projects or current compensation).
No support channel and virtually no support ticketing system.
Waited a month for support with no results.
In short: this is a scam company, abuse of free labor.

Addendum: The 3-Minute "Verification" Sham

Your "support" is a performance. Tim responded at 14:32:51; by 14:35:17, three minutes, you had already "reviewed" documents and manufactured five contradictory rejections. This is not verification; this is a pre-written denial script to block wage claims.

Let me dismantle your fabricated excuses:

"Name mismatch": My profile displays only my full name. There is nothing to mismatch.
"Document type not accepted": Vietnamese National ID Card is standard government-issued identification. Your provider's incompetence is not my liability.
"Expired": Valid until 2042. Basic reading comprehension failure.
"Under 18": The DOB is clearly visible. Your provider needs glasses, not an excuse to steal wages.
"Signs of alteration": It was live verification. Real-time capture cannot be "altered."

The Reality

You never intended to verify anything. This obstacle course was deployed after I demanded payment, a transparent tactic to shift blame onto workers for your theft.

Final Notice
When I request verification, it means you should sit down with me and clarify the issue together, not come to a conclusion after 3 minutes.
Your "support" exists solely to generate pretexts for wage withholding. I am documenting this entire exchange for labor authorities, payment processors, and public disclosure.

This must have been a great platform some 3 years ago. Now everyone that is on here is really going for the most vulnerable parts of the pouplation to exploit for the most miserable pay imaginable. The projects involving prolonged training are even worse.

In over twenty-five years working in IT, I have rarely come across an experience as frustrating as this one.

I joined Mindrift believing I was entering a platform designed for professionals in artificial intelligence, software development, and technical analysis.

What I actually found was a confusing, poorly structured process that, at times, felt completely disconnected from the professional environment it claims to represent.

After submitting my résumé, personal information, professional background, and completing a lengthy registration process, any reasonable person would expect the platform to evaluate their skills and assign work that matches their expertise.

That is not what happened.

My first assignment required me to install a VPN, connect through a US IP address, register on a third-party platform, and complete the entire exercise within approximately one hour and twenty minutes.

What no one tells you is that you may spend a significant part of that time simply trying to find a VPN, install it, configure it, troubleshoot network issues, and understand why the required website does not even work.

In my case, the VPN actually prevented access to the required website. I had to diagnose the issue, modify my network configuration, and only then was I finally able to access the platform—while the countdown timer continued running.

The first task was rejected.

On my second attempt, I followed every instruction exactly as described.

However, the interface I received was different from the one shown in the onboarding instructions.

As an IT professional, I did what any tester or developer would do: I documented the discrepancy with screenshots and reported it.

The task remained "In Review."

I opened a support ticket.

I exchanged nine emails with the support team, providing screenshots and a detailed explanation of the issue.

I was explicitly told that my submission had been received, that it was under review, and that no further action was required from my side.

A few hours later, the task was rejected.

No technical explanation.

No indication of what was supposedly wrong.

After spending more than twenty-five years designing software, managing information systems, and solving complex technical problems, being rejected after documenting an interface inconsistency exactly as requested is something I genuinely struggle to understand.

But the most surprising part came afterwards.

The next available tasks offered approximately $0.35 each.

In exchange, participants were asked to provide:

newly taken selfies;
archived selfies from different years;
cropped facial photographs taken from identity documents;
demographic information;
device information;
and explicit consent for the processing of biometric facial data for AI training.

All of this for thirty-five cents.

I also work as a Data Protection Officer (DPO).

I fully understand what biometric data represents and the responsibilities associated with processing it.

For that reason, I find the balance between the amount of personal and biometric information requested and the compensation offered to be highly disproportionate.

I joined Mindrift hoping to contribute my professional experience in software development and artificial intelligence.

Instead, I spent days dealing with confusing onboarding procedures, inconsistent instructions, rejected tasks without meaningful technical feedback, and requests for extensive biometric data in exchange for a few cents.

For me, this has been one of the most disappointing experiences I have ever had on an online work platform.

As a freelancer with 6 years of experience, I've used hundreds of platforms, and this has been the worst experience so far. Endless assessments and interviews, but no actual work. It feels like they're collecting data rather than hiring. The team hasn't responded to my messages for over 2 months. A complete waste of time and a frustrating experience for freelancers. Would not recommend.

Absolutely horrible. You'll make about US$4.00 an hour. And before that on all projects you will have to do several hours of training - unpaid - and tests - unpaid - and then once in a project, you'll be required to submit a large number of unpaid tasks to prove you are competent enough to work on the project. An absolutely terrible site.

I have enjoyed using this site and have been successful with using the site for a side income. The only thing that I would change is that it takes a while to sometimes get work. You can join projects and wait weeks for tasks, if you even get any at all.

Let me share a joke. There is a task "Upload Selfies: New and Archive Photos."
You have to upload:
- 4 currently captured selfies in different locations and conditions.
- 5 Selfies from your archive. They must be in different years.
- 5 Selfies from at least 5+ years ago.
- 2 Photos from your document, like a photo of a printed photo or passport.

Guess how much you will get? $20? $30? Yes, you are almost correct. You will get 35.
Wait! Not $35, you will get 35 cents. Yes! You read it right. You will get only $0.35 by selling your identity with unlimited revisions. You may need to upload again if any specific condition is not met.

I bet a slave in the 18th-19th century earned more than that.

Asks for long assignments with no pay and rejects most job applications. Probably they use these assignments for training AI.
