I launched a private fitness studio in Killeshandra, Co. Cavan this month, and LegitFit has made the whole process far easier than I expected. I compared a few booking platforms, and this was the one that felt simplest for both me and my clients. Classes, small group personal training, memberships and one-to-one sessions all sit in one clean system, and clients can sign up, sign the waiver and book in a couple of minutes.

The team made the difference. Ian walked me through everything clearly on my demo call and made it easy to get started. Andrea set up my classes, memberships and payments with me on a live call, then followed up with honest feedback on my pricing. Shane gave me excellent advice on simplifying my offer and structuring my timetable, and that conversation changed how I run the business. Within a day of opening bookings, my launch class was full and I’d sold my first memberships. I’d recommend LegitFit to any studio owner.

The company provides contracts for gyms. However, they did not provide a copy of my contract when I subscribed, not when I asked for one, which at least contravenes good practice if not law. They also do not provide a way to cancel subscriptions, directing customers to deal with the vendors directly while giving no direct way to do so. The only saving grace is that they have a responsive customer support service, but unfortunately they aren't empowered to do anything.

Opened my pt studio 6 months ago and LegitFit has been a lifesaver on bookings and time! Lets me train the clients as the coach, and they handle all the backend stuff for me! Very user friendly website/app, their aftercare has been second to none, always on hand to answer any questions of fix and issues and my own branded Progress Coaching app looks brilliant! We recently made the switch to LegitFit for our Pilates studio and the migration process was incredibly smooth. LegitFit took care of all the backend work, which made the transition so much easier and allowed me to focus on building our timetable, products, and memberships.

Ian got in touch very quickly and provided me with lots of helpful information about how the system works. He also followed up with another call to make sure everything was in place and to confirm the switch. From there, I was handed over to the onboarding team, where Bella contacted me to arrange our first call.

Bella was fantastic throughout the entire onboarding process. She guided me through each step clearly and explained everything I needed to do on my end. Whenever I had a question, she was always quick to respond with simple, easy-to-follow troubleshooting advice, which made the whole process feel very straightforward.

So far, we have been extremely happy with LegitFit. It has significantly reduced the amount of day-to-day administration required, giving me more time to focus on the studio and our clients. Our clients have also been very positive about the new system, particularly how easy and straightforward it is to book classes.

Overall, the transition to LegitFit has been a great experience and I would highly recommend it to other studio owners looking for a simple, efficient booking system with excellent support.

The amount of time this has saved us as a gym owner is honestly huge. What I love most is that it doesn’t just give you data it actually helps you understand what the data is telling you and make better decisions from it.

We can see which classes are performing, which are underperforming, when it makes sense to cut a class or add another, and where we’re potentially wasting capacity.

It’s also helping us massively with our front-end offer and conversion journey, understanding when is the best time to sell to a client, what offers are converting best, and where our highest hit rates are.

Instead of making decisions based on gut feeling, we can actually make data-driven decisions across the whole customer journey.

For a gym owner, that’s incredibly powerful. It saves time, gives you clarity and ultimately helps you make more money.

The LegitFit booking system has been very straightforward to use and has streamlined the running of my studio !!

Where do I even start with LegitFit?

LegitFit is causing serious ongoing issues at our gym, and unfortunately, the way these problems have been handled has been completely unacceptable.

Before installing our new access control system, we contacted LegitFit specifically to confirm whether their system could operate multiple access points, including our main entrance door and a turnstile.

We were told that it could.

The turnstile/access control company, which was recommended by LegitFit, also contacted them directly by email to confirm that the proposed setup would work with multiple access points. They were also assured that it would.

Based on those assurances, we proceeded with the installation and have now spent between €7,000 to €10,000 installing the door & new gate access control system.

Only after the system was installed did we discover that LegitFit cannot actually operate multiple doors/access points simultaneously in the way we were told it could.

On top of this, we have experienced repeated connectivity failures with the access control system, resulting in members being unable to enter the gym. Other potential causes have been investigated and ruled out, leaving the LegitFit software/connection as the ongoing issue.

The level of customer support when dealing with something this serious is extremely poor.

There is no live chat and no direct support phone number to contact when your access control system fails. WhatsApp and email responses can take anywhere from 24–72 hours. Even if you respond immediately when they eventually reply, you can then be waiting another 24 hours or more for the next response.

Requesting a phone call can mean waiting even longer.

This is simply not acceptable for a company providing an access control system. When members are standing outside your gym unable to gain entry because the system is not functioning correctly, waiting days for support is not an acceptable solution.

What has been particularly frustrating is the way our complaint regarding the multiple-door setup has been handled. When we asked why we had been told the system could operate multiple access points when it apparently cannot, the response was essentially: “Who told you that?”

We have the emails. We know exactly who confirmed it, and the confirmation was given before we spent more than €7,000 installing the system.

There are also other serious concerns with the platform.

For example, multiple people can potentially log into the same membership account and use that one active membership to gain access to the gym. LegitFit also does not require a mandatory verified member photo as part of the access process, making it extremely difficult for an unmanned gym to confirm that the person entering is actually the legitimate membership holder.

For a system that is supposed to manage and protect access to a gym, these are fundamental issues.

Based on our experience with the reliability of the access control system, the limitations we discovered after installation, and particularly the extremely poor support when serious problems arise, I could not recommend LegitFit's access control system to another gym owner.

We relied on the information we were given, invested between €7,000 to €10,000 based on those assurances, and have been left dealing with a system that does not operate as we were told it would.

The entire experience has been incredibly frustrating and disappointing.

After 20 years of running my Pilates studio with a pen-and-paper booking system, moving to LegitFit felt like a huge leap. I was honestly quite nervous about making the change, but it's been one of the best decisions I've made for my business.

The user interface is intuitive and easy to navigate, and my clients have adapted to it so quickly. They've genuinely loved the experience, and it's made booking and managing classes so much simpler for everyone.

From the studio owner's perspective, the backend was also much easier to learn than I expected. Once I understood how everything worked, it became very straightforward to manage classes, packages and clients.

A special mention has to go to Bella, my onboarding agent. She was patient, knowledgeable and incredibly supportive throughout the whole process. She made what felt like a daunting transition feel manageable and gave me the confidence to get up and running.

LegitFit has completely changed the way I run my studio, saving me time and creating a much better experience for both me and my clients. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

Using the system has made things really easy for both me and my clients, this has cut my admin time massively and makes it much easier for clients to quickly book on to classes where they can see the timetable clearly.

I don't normally leave reviews, but Shane genuinely deserves one.
I had been putting off changing booking systems because I thought moving all my clients over would be a nightmare. Shane made the entire process unbelievably easy. He transferred all of my clients from my previous provider, made sure every class credit was added to the correct account, and took all of the stress out of switching.
Any time I had a question, Shane replied so quickly. If I wasn't sure how to do something, he'd jump on a video call and talk me through it step by step. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and you could tell he genuinely cared about getting everything right.
He even helped me create my own branded app, which has completely transformed the experience for my Pilates members. It looks so professional, and my clients love how easy it is to use.
The biggest thing for me was the customer service. Shane didn't just set everything up and disappear. He checked in, made sure everything was running smoothly, and was always there whenever I needed help. It's rare to find someone who takes that much pride in their job and genuinely wants your business to succeed.
If you're thinking about moving to LegitFit but are worried about the hassle, don't be. Shane takes care of everything and makes the transition completely seamless.
