Shockingly bad customer service
Shockingly bad customer service. I wish I read reviews before getting a phone.
I returned the phone to the company, and it's been two weeks since I've been waiting for my refund for the flagship phone find 9 pro.
Contacting the company is impossible. Whatsapp syas "No available agents", Live chat "system is being upgraded", calling a hotline put me with technical support which could not switch me to sales, as the have "technical problems".
It's absolutely worst purchase experience in UK ever. Stay away from that brand.

Customer service when buying direct…
Customer service when buying direct from their website is appalling.
Purchased a Oppo Find X9 ultra (£1500!) advertised with a free gift of a X3 watch (£350). The watch did not come with the phone delivery, one month on I have been chasing customer service via email and WhatsApp app with no confirmation of when the free gift will be dispatched.
They have links on their website for claiming your free gift through third part sellers but nothing about claiming for direct purchases. When you complain to customer services you get an automated response saying words to the effect of "how can I help", even when I stated in my original email what my query was, I respond again then nothing.
My only option now is complain to trading standards.
Literally nothing works.
Literally nothing works.
Photos app is a write off, it just simply doesn't work.
Burn in is crazy, unlike anything I have ever seen.
Battery is catastrophically bad.

Been trying to claim my free smart watch for over two months sent in all information requested no reply from Oppo customer services.i love the phone but won't be getting another
Shocking Customer Service!
Absolutely unacceptable customer service. I purchased an Oppo flagship phone that included a free gift, but their claim system didn’t even work when I tried to redeem it the very next day. After five weeks of repeated attempts, they’ve now refused the claim, hiding behind their terms and conditions.
This isn’t just poor service, it’s completely misleading. Promising offers you can’t actually redeem is not acceptable.
Avoid at all costs.

If phones bought within 14 days
If phones bought within 14 days, Oppo.com returns are greyed out so you can't return. They only create a prepaid label for repairs only. So guys beware before purchasing a product from them. In the end I gave up returning. Only pay via PayPal so you can claim via PayPal if oppo don't respond.
Ignored by customer service
Ignored by customer service, they make great phones but if it's not backed up with support then it's best avoided.

Oppo A5i one of the worst phone you could use it's even back at doing simple things like recieving a call without causing a 3 or 2 seconds lag it will simply kill your patience, so if you are planning to buy A5i because it's budget friendly i suggest you to rethink

I think Oppo in recent years has lost its reliability not worth investing in.

On app they don't give any option for turn off the auto-renewal, and you have to call them for cancellation, and then they don't release any refund. onestly the price with prime discont was same to other website without discont. anyway this is disgusting, away from oppodo.
Oppo is now the worst expensive phone…
Oppo is now the worst expensive phone in the world. I started with Oppo A31 and enjoyed a 5 star experience and then I decided to go for Oppo A6X, I barely get internet connection in my room but enjoy good internet in the old one. The phone is terribly slow to operate even receiving calls is a bad experience for a new device. Oppo used to be the best now they have gained the market, they're selling substandard device.
Poor customer service over a faulty phone and no full refund offered
Sadly, found the customer service severely lacking with this company. I bought their flagship phone from them and found within a week there was a bluetooth issue and the phone was faulty. After a month of back and forth with customer service (because it took about 2-3 days to reply back each time). It was decided it was a hardware fault and to send the phone back.
Sent the phone back, after me having to chase for an update on the repair, they said there was no fault found. They sent the phone back but but again was found to be not working with the same issue. Got in contact with customer service again which at least this time didn't take as long to send the phone back, but this time at my own cost to send back.
After a month of trying to get an update on the phone and at this point completely frustrated asked to just refund the phone as I needed to purchase another one as my old phone had finally given up. After a month of no updates they confirmed there was a fault with the phone and bluetooth which they have now repaired. They refused to give a refund though stating it was outside the 30 day period despite the fault being identified within 30 days and though they couldn't find the fault at the time was still present.
After on insisting on a refund, they only offered a refund minus 25% of the original cost.
Despite several attempts to explain my position and the reason why a full refund was appropriate they continued to flatly refuse and only offer the discounted refund. In the end I had to go through my card company to issue the full refund back to me which only took 1 day of submitting the email chain and evidence required, which only sterngthens my belief that this company were completely in the wrong to not issue a full refund as soon as requested.
Will never buy an OPPO phone again, this was the first and very last time.
Bad Quality control of their premium products
I purchased the Oppo Find X9 Pro and immediately experienced serious battery issues. The phone delivered <4 hours of screen‑on time under normal settings. Even after switching to 4G, reducing the refresh rate to 60 Hz, and disabling almost all AI features, the device still struggled to reach <5 hours. This is unacceptable for a phone advertised with a 7500 mAh battery. Clearly a faulty device since many users online reported well over 8 hours of SOT.
When I contacted Oppo, the customer service team clearly offered me a choice between a refund or a replacement. I accepted the replacement, which created a binding agreement. I returned the device and was told the process would take five working days. It took well over that, leaving me without a phone, only for Oppo to later claim the device was “fine” and attempt to send the same faulty unit back instead of honouring the replacement that was explicitly offered.
This is a clear breach of trust. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose. Although I could take legal action, it would only waste even more of my time. Oppo has already wasted enough of it by failing to honour its own commitments.

My phones bloatware constantly recommends I download asian dating apps. I'm a woman who's happily involved and have never even touched remotely similar content. Never give your young kids an oppo.

These guys designed the best phone i ever bought : Oppo A5 Pro 5G.
It has good battery . It starts independent in the morning and then starts the alarm. It has IPV68 or 69, am not sure. Has some military resistance certificate. Great cam compared to others in this price range.
Perfect RAM for these days and good CPU GPU.
Antutu score is more than decent for someone who plays games only on laptop/pc.
Thanks a lot, you are doing a great job .
I’ve used the Oppo Reno5 4G for over…
I’ve used the Oppo Reno5 4G for over three years, and while it started strong, the experience declined noticeably after two years. The virtual RAM feature caused app crashes and frustration until I realized turning it off helped. Ads in system apps, often without clear ways to close them, made the experience feel cluttered and irritating. Over time, the phone became sluggish, with occasional blank screens, heating, lag, and fingerprint sensor bugs.
For these reasons, I’ve decided to switch to Samsung as my primary phone. I understand Samsung charges a premium, but at least they stand behind the performance, software stability, and long-term user experience. What disappointed me most was feeling like the end user was being ignored while ads were pushed inside basic system apps just to generate extra revenue. A phone should not force users into accidental ad clicks or make everyday tasks frustrating.
Samsung feels like a better long-term choice because they focus more on a stable system, cleaner experience, reliable updates, and overall care for the end user. Oppo phones may have potential, but these issues held the experience back for me. I hope Oppo focuses more on stability, user control, fewer intrusive ads, and long-term software support in future models.
