traveling to a new country was cool. Also I had a lot of fun doing so many things.

We stayed for 3 days and I felt very comfortable, everything was clean. The room was also cleaned daily and our dinner was also every time ready when we came from work, All in all I felt great and there is really nothing that I would complain about

Our host family has been wonderful with us. Donna Rochfort has been most generous with us, caring, warm, friendly and kind. Donna's accommodation is top quality, she cooked delicious breakfast and did all the meal arrangements so we could have our packed lunch ready early before leaving in the morning. She was super flexible with meal times and we could arrange either to have dinner with her or just ask to have our dinner kept for the time we went back home if it was late. The location was perfect, safe and quiet, even near bus stops to get everywhere quickly. She has an excellent style in communication and we've had chats about different topics, she is amazingly welcoming and really cared about us and the rest of the people in our group who were staying at some other host family houses. Donna is the perfect hostess a person can choose or be assigned. I am grateful to have met her and thank Donna for such marvellous days in her house, it felt like home. She seemed to be part of my family in Ireland. Highly recommendable!

The house was so beautiful and clean, it was located near tge bus stop so I think I was pretty lucky that my school picked this host family for me, and that isn’t everything! didn’t have any kind of problems at all with the family they were so nice to me at all times, it really felt like home❤️

I stayed at Maria and Tony Pender's house and it was a wonderful experience! They both were extremely welcoming, respectful and kind. The house was clean and comfortable, I really recommend it.

From the very first moment we arrived, Tracey and Roger made us feel incredibly welcome. They aren’t just hosts; they truly became our family away from home. They went above and beyond every single day to ensure we were confortable and happy. Whether it was sharing the best local spots to visit or simply sitting down for a warm chat at the end of the day, their kindness and generosity know no bounds. We are so grateful for the beautiful memories we shared with them and for the genuine care they showed us.

My stay at Maria and Tony Pender's house was amazing! For me it was the first time staying with a host family, but they were so kind, welcoming, and always available to help, which made me feel at home.

The family was really nice with us, there is 3 cute kids and parents couple. Edel and declan Welcomed us well and always maked sure we were okay. They gave us good food and a lot if liberty. If we had to come back and choose a family we would choose them again 100 times. Linda and Marc have been very good in everything, thanks to them I had a very pleasant stay. They were always willing to take care of me and make me comfortable. They made me feel at home and like one more of the family and I really appreciate it, without a doubt they are the best.

To say that finding accommodation in Dublin is difficult would be no exaggeration. Fortunately, I found HFDI, and they in turn found me the perfect home for my two-month stay. Throughout the entire process HFDI were quick to answer any questions I had and were always helpful and supportive.

I cannot recommend HFDI highly enough, and I am truly grateful for all they did for me.

I contacted HFDI to find a family for my 15 year old daughter to spend her TY in Dublin. I had a very positive experience not only with the host family, but also working with HFDI. Thanks to Tunda Sipos, our coordinator, who was very supportive. I truly appreciated her help and guidance. The host family was fantastic. Couldn't have asked for more!!

Eficiency, trustfull, professionals

I’m hosting several years now and HFDI is consistently the most organised and helpful agency to deal with. They pay well and on time and on the rare cases where an issue arises they are only a text away! I was recently able to avail of a loan of an industrial carpet cleaner which was a very much appreciated perk of hosting with HFDI. It was free and saved me a fortune! My experience with Host Family Dublin Ireland was excellent from start to finish. The team was always very responsive, supportive, and available whenever I needed assistance. They made the entire process smooth and were always willing to help with any questions or concerns.
My host, Roisin, was absolutely wonderful. She was always kind, welcoming, and considerate, making me feel comfortable and at home from the very beginning. She was very supportive in helping me improve my English through daily conversations and encouragement. She also shared a lot of useful local information and tips, which helped me better understand Irish culture and make the most of my time in Ireland.
The accommodation experience exceeded my expectations. Roisin created a warm and friendly environment, and her patience and generosity made a significant difference in my stay. I felt genuinely cared for and supported throughout my time there.

Amazing first experience at hosting. We had two 18 year old young men from Germany. They we polite, respectful and great fun. They were brilliant with out young kids too.

Moving to Dublin for work was made seamless thanks to HFDI. They were incredibly professional and respectful, and they found me excellent accommodation near DCU within just two days! They truly understood my needs and matched me with a fantastic host. I highly recommend their supportive team to anyone moving to Ireland.

I accepted a student placement that was being rehomed, but unfortunately the agency was not honest about the situation beforehand. The experience turned into a very stressful evening and morning due to the student’s highly demanding and disrespectful behaviour.

To make matters worse, when I spoke with the coordinator, Carol Menon, I found her approach rude, dismissive, and unprofessional rather than supportive. I also raised the matter with the director, but despite the distress and inconvenience caused, I did not feel I was compensated appropriately for the experience.

The lack of transparency, support, and professionalism throughout the process was extremely disappointing. Based on my experience, I would strongly advise others to avoid this agency.
