I paid the 1€ for the 4 day trial and as I couldn’t see anything I went to cancel my subscription but I couldn’t find it, so I emailed them but I didn’t get an answer until few days after the automatic renewal and I have to say after few emails to the support team telling them my situation, they gave me my money back since I didn’t use the service and I contacted them prior to the automatic renewal.

I recently signed up for Rentumo’s trial service and unfortunately was charged €39.99 when the trial converted to a Premium subscription. I had not intended to continue with the paid subscription and contacted customer support after noticing the charge.

One thing I would strongly suggest Rentumo reconsider is the **4-day trial period**. In my opinion, four days is quite short compared with what customers generally expect from a trial, and having the subscription automatically renew for €39.99 after such a short period can be easy to miss. I think a longer trial period or an additional reminder before the renewal would provide a much better customer experience.

Initially, I was informed that the refund could not be provided because my cancellation was made after the trial period. However, Sarah from the Rentumo support team was very helpful throughout the communication. She reviewed my case, acknowledged that I had cancelled very shortly after the renewal, and escalated it to her supervisor for further consideration.

I’m happy to say that they ultimately made an exception and processed the **full €39.99 refund**, which I have now received.

I really appreciate Sarah’s willingness to listen, escalate the matter, and find a positive resolution rather than simply closing the case with the initial refusal. Her communication was professional and helpful throughout.

Overall, I’m giving **4 stars**. The short 4-day trial and automatic €39.99 renewal were frustrating, but I’m very satisfied with how Sarah and the support team handled my case and ultimately resolved the issue positively.

Paid €1 to view a property and instead got charged €40, after contacting my bank I had to cancel my card and get a new one. I emailed the company twice about the situation and didnt get any response (the email they listed in other 1 star reviews here). It is quiet clearly a fraudulent system. It is also quiet alarming the amount of reviews who say the same thing as me. Please avoid, the site is pretty useless anyway.

I signed up expecting to pay €1 to view rental listings, but I didn’t realise it would automatically convert into a €39.99 subscription after just a few days. The renewal terms were not obvious to me at the time of signing up, and I only discovered them after finding an email later. By then, the charge had already appeared on my bank account.

I cancelled the subscription immediately as soon as I noticed the charge. In my opinion, the pricing and auto-renewal should be made much clearer before payment, not buried in terms or emails that many people may not read straight away. My experience has left me disappointed, and I would not recommend the service unless you’re very careful about the subscription conditions.

I signed up because the website advertised a €1 trial, and I believed it was a one-time payment for a single day of access. At no point did I clearly understand that I would be automatically enrolled in a monthly subscription and charged a much larger amount afterward.

The subscription fee was 39.99 euro and deducted from my account without me realizing it would happen. The terms about automatic renewal were either not obvious enough or not presented clearly during the sign-up process. This experience feels misleading and unfair.

I would not have agreed to the trial if I had known it would automatically convert into a paid monthly subscription. I recommend that the company make the subscription terms and renewal charges much clearer before taking payment from customers.

I don't usually place reviews but this one really needs to be talked about. The worst website for when you're actually searching for a place. Completely useless if you don't pay for premium, whilst not everyone has the money to waste on a random website that they will most likely not use much. You can't contact the person who made the listing, you can't see the photos of the property, you can't do anything ACTUALLY useful. It constantly sends emails for "match found" despite the fact it's just gonna tell you that it in fact is there, but you won't be able to do anything about it unless you pay this money hungry service. It would be alright if it wasn't that expensive, but €39.99 per month, and the trial being paid €1 too?? It's straight up using the fact people are in need of housing.

One of the best professional rental agencies in Ireland. I recently got my apartment through Rentumo. It was as perfect as it was published on Rentumo & lease process also very smooth. I am really happy with the service & positively refer to others.

Great place to find your house, they respond at time and you can see a lot of places at the same website

It's a great help when you are under preassure for renting a house, to have somebody like Rentumo to let you know what is available in the market.

Duckin scam, i mean this subscriptions, u buy it first time for couple of euros and next payment will increase to 20 euros, anyway, website is kinda weird, when i try to reach landlord it shows me that this apartments find at another website, and it happens everytime when i want to contact with landlord, mb there some hidden buttons, but yo, this app is super user unfriendly, dont buy sub it doesn’t help u anyway
