Barely connects
Barely connects, never is accurate. I have contacted 5 times to cancel but yet they have tried to charge my card EIGHT TIMES. My bank card has been frozen since 29/9/26 it’s now 5/10/26
Tracking is appalling
I have 2 dogs they each have a tracker. The batterie life is a joke. And the correctness if the location tracking is appalling. When you know where your dogs are it is funny that the trackers says they are 3,7km away from you even though they are right next to you. But what if i actually need their location right then and there. How do i ever trust this system again? Waist of money
Dissapointing
After only one month of normal use, the Kippy CAT detached from my cat’s collar and was lost. The app then showed inconsistent locations, and despite following them, I could not find the device.
Kippy refused to replace it, leaving me with a lost tracker after just one month.
I was considering buying a second Kippy for my other cat, but after this experience, definitely not.
I expected a reliable GPS tracker, not a product that disappears after one month.
Poor Battery life in reality compared with Tractive
Poor Battery life, tiresome support process, app not brillant, no web portal. Fails in everyway against the Tractive I've had before.
The setup process is filled with bugs
The setup process is filled with bugs, the device does not charge correctly, the location provided is not at all accurate. All in all, a really bad way to spend 150 euros. Do not buy this.

Really great but I Forget to but the connection fee but I'm pleased how it's gone
Dangerous and not fit for purpose.
The live track doesn’t work, geo fence is useless as my garden isn’t 40m in diameter and most worryingly I hung a 10kg kettlebell from the collar and it didn’t separate (states 4kg). It isn’t a signal issue either as both my partner and I are on O2 mobile without any issues at all. The product is not fit for purpose and dangerous. I want a full refund on my subscription and I will return the device to Amazon with immediate effect. I am so disappointed in Kippy.

Very happy with my Kippy
Very happy with my experience with Kippy! The combination of a great product and excellent customer service makes all the difference. Communication was quick, friendly, and professional throughout the process, and I have full confidence in the new Kippy Cat.
There is only one minor point for improvement: I had to provide the same information more than once. Aside from that, everything was handled very well.
Overall, I am a very satisfied customer and would definitely recommend Kippy to others. In fact, I already have 😉
Just started using it today
Just started using it today. So far we are okay satisfied. It does the job and quite useful. It’s smaller than the Tractive and has similar features. The main issue is the battery which dies after 1.5-2 hrs even if fully charged at the outset, if on live tracker. So we just need to not have it on live tracker unless we need to check in on our cat. But in a way this sort of defeats the purpose because we need to make sure our cat doesn’t go outside the safe zone to the main road.
Useless if you have patchy GSM cover
We're in an area with low GSM coverage, so my expectations were low, but Kippy has failed to meet even those.
We've used a Tractive tracker for another cat for a few years, and been reasonably happy with it, apart from the terrible battery life. Kippy is nowhere near as reliable, although the battery life is better.
Problem 1: Although you can adjust the update frequency, the minimum is 1 hour. A cat can travel a long way in an hour, and when the Live tracking sometimes can't connect, it leaves you with no idea of where the cat is.
Problem 2: Kippy uses WiFi and LBS to calculate the cat's position, when it can't get a GPS fix. WiFi positioning is just about acceptable, but LBS positioning in an area with low coverage is ridiculously inaccurate - we often get alerts saying that the cat has left the virtual fence, and when I look at the map it shows her over 5 km away. It's only when you look at the tiny print at the top of the screen that you notice it says she's 5km away, plus or minus 20000 metres!
I'm sure it's more accurate in good GSM coverage areas, but unfortunately there's no way to turn it off.
I bought what I thought was a GPS tracker, not an LBS tracker.
Live tracking can take 3 or 4 minutes to start, even when the cat *is* in GSM cover. With Tractive, I know that if it doesn't connect within a minute, it's not going to.
Problem 3: The history is useless. You can at least choose not to show LBS and WiFi updates - but normally what I'm left with is just 2 or 3 GPS updates over the day. With Tractive, even if Live update doesn't work. I can usually look at the history to see whether the cat was going in a particular direction when she left GSM cover.
Unfortunately, I'll be going back to Tractive - even with it's higher price and lower battery life. What's important is being able to find out where the cat is, and Kippy is simply not reliable enough for this.

Amazing device!
As an owner of an outdoor cat, the anxiety of not knowing where they’ve wandered off to is so real. I’ve been using the Kippy CAT GPS tracker on my cat, Robin, and it has honestly taken a massive weight off my shoulders.
The unboxing and setup were incredibly straightforward. The tracker itself is surprisingly sleek and lightweight—I was a little worried Robin would find it bulky or try to scratch it off, but he genuinely doesn’t care that it’s there and just goes about his normal outdoor exploring.
The app is fantastic and super user-friendly. Being able to see his live location in real-time is a total game-changer, but my favorite feature has to be the virtual geofence. It’s so reassuring to get an instant alert if he wanders past our usual safe zones. Plus, seeing his daily activity levels and step counts is a really fun bonus that helps me keep an eye on his overall health!
It’s completely waterproof, the battery life is solid, and it just works exactly like it's supposed to. Robin’s sister, Ginger, is already eyeing it up, so I think I’ll be buying a second one very soon. If you want to let your cat enjoy the outdoors without the constant worry, I cannot recommend Kippy enough!

Gifted by kippy. I love this for my dogs as it gives me piece of mind that I can track them and will not lose them. My dogs also love it as they now get more freedom and can have more fun. I absolutely love it and feel much happier letting my dogs off lead.

Kippy is a great product for seeing where your cat is. No more searching late at night! Also, a great service department that responds quickly to questions.

Anyone with a dog knows how quickly they can disappear off exploring, especially in new places. The Kippy DOG GPS gives me real peace of mind by letting me see where my dog is in real time, set safe areas, and check their activity easily from the app. It’s been a great way to let them enjoy their adventures while I worry less. gifted by Kippy
I have a Kippy Cat Evo 2 it's 9k but...
I have a Kippy Cat Evo 2, it's always very accurate when I need to find the cat. I'm very happy with it. The only flaw is that at the moment it's not possible to purchase just the charging cable separately and therefore you can't have a spare. For the rest, ok!!!
Top product
I have two kippys for my two cats. I use Kippy since 2024 and it actual saved my cat several times. One Time he got lost and couldn’t find his way. I’m more at ease knowing where they are when they don’t come back and a super advantage is that the Kippy isn’t too big for them. Which with other brands is the case. Very happy!!
Would buy again
The kippy cat GPS is pretty accurate and in the wifi zone the battery life is amazing. Outside of the wifi zone the battery life is about 2,5 days the last time we tried this (but the update setting was on every hour, now it's on every 5 hours). The kippy can take a hit without getting real damage so tree climbing is not a problem. A downside of the Kippy for us is the design of the hard material of the GPS part. The shape is not conform the neck of my cat (too wide curve/not round enough). The band is pretty cool. The pin wich closes the band is easy in use; but would be even more when the pin was on the bottom band so you would push in an upward movement. Also the band is made of rubber and this is the reason I don't think the band would survive if I made an extra hole so the band would be smaller(to better fit my small cats neck). Other than that I'm satisfied with my purchase. The live track function I use on a daily basis. Also the app has all these functions keeping track of my cat. How many minutes a day he runs, jumps, eats and many more. Would definitely buy again!
Absolutely terrific service
Absolutely terrific service. A brilliant product. We have one on each of our three cats stop customer service matches the same quality. Thank you.
