They converted lifetime memberships into paid memberships with the lie of version 2.0. Absolutely do not trust them.

As a first-time user of Folder Fort, I have been genuinely impressed with how solid their free version is. Knowing the service has been stable and active for over a year gave me the confidence to finally give it a try.

If I had to give it an exact score, I'd rate it a 3.9 out of 5, and here is why: the platform isn't exactly "bulky" or packed with heavy-duty extras. For instance, there is no dedicated desktop sync app, and it doesn't try to reinvent the wheel with flashy, standout features. However, if you are perfectly fine dragging and dropping your files straight through their website, it works flawlessly. Plus, if you ever decide you need to expand your storage, it’s great to know they offer incredibly low pricing.

The user experience itself is a huge plus. The interface is wonderfully clean, uncluttered, and so easy to navigate. I really appreciate how it allows you to neatly organize your documents into specific workspaces. True to its name, both uploading and downloading files is genuinely fast, and the fact that you can play media files directly within the web app is a fantastic convenience.

Ultimately, while the free tier might not be the most feature-heavy option out there, it doesn't need to be. It is incredibly reliable and stable enough for me to securely store my current, critical files without a second thought. Sometimes, a simple, dependable platform is exactly what you need.

I purchased a lifetime 1 TB membership in December 2025. After testing both the EU and US servers, I prefer the US server because of its speed when using from Japan. What I hope for going forward is support for Android apps, along with the long-term continuation of the service. If a new server is added in Canada, that would be great news.

The deal seemed too good to be true, but I purchased a lifetime 1tb membership July 28th, 2024 and it hasn't let me down yet. There are small very forgivable issues sometimes like when I drag and drop 20 large files, one file fails to upload. Simple fix is drag the file again no big deal. I've been so pleased with the service I bought another 1TB that stacked with the first. Love the simplicity and its worked from every PC and phone browser I've needed it to. Honestly bought it as an experiment to see if the servers would be shut down after they got enough subscriptions, but 1 1/2 years in everything is working wonderfully.

I almost bought the lifetime plan and I am glad I did not. I tested it on free tier, and saw that it is a lie that your files will upload fast. Worse, the folder I uploaded did not contain all the files that were present in the original version. I don't know how something can be so horrible and still priced as a luxury item.

No technology user is immune to experiencing a technological catastrophe from time to time.

I suffered a major disaster when migrating my codes and passwords between devices and applications from one popular platform to another.

Among the damages of this catastrophe was the loss of my access credentials to my Folderfort cloud service.

Without the help of Folderfort's excellent support service, I would never have been able to recover my investment nor my personal folder.

And for this reason, I wish to express my utmost appreciation and sincere gratitude to Folderfort for the quality of the product and for its wonderful support service also as well.

In times of catastrophe, the presence of our digital guardian angel shines brightest.

This isn't always the case with other providers.

But, in the case of Folderfort, I guarantee with my own documented personal experience that the digital guardian angel never fails and always helps us when it is more needed.

Files are gone but my mp3s are still herę
My workspaces now have -Infinty GB

Because i dont have alts.

I dealt with Dave. He is fantastic to work with. He's also helped me multiple times with questions I sent to your Support email. The speed transfers with FolderFort have been great! That why I bought 3 TB of more storage.

I'm so satisfied with FolderFort, I contacted my sister to take advantage of the sale prices. She said Dave was incredibly helpful with her too.

I think Folder Fort could have done better. Even now I idolize Mediafire for my storage. Although they too allow duplicates, most of the time, they indicate that we may already have that file on the cloud by checksum.

I just want the mobile app for my iphone...

No apps at the moment, windows coming, no android.
Monthly price is meh compared to the big ones.
I read they don't want to be a "living" storage, you're not supposed to download and upload so often?!
api and so on are NOT free for lifetime subscriptions! Be aware these are light formulas and don't have the same service provided.
In few words: Apps missing, price not so good given the first point, be aware that lifetime isn't full service.

I've been using FolderFort for about 6 months now and I'm very satisfied with the usability of the platform, the speed as well as the customer service.
The only issue is sometimes the uploads failed when there are many small files, which is a known issue and you're made aware of. Just zip whenever you have many small files, easy fix. They do not seem to be stopping anytime in the future, also they're regularly releasing updates and new features with the latest addition being the API. All in all very much recommended.

I am a free user of Folder Fort. Not only paid users but free users also get best service from the Support wing. Upload and download Speed continuosly is also very good. First I was alloted 1 GB free Storage space then on my request according to some promotion plan next two or 3 days later I was alloted 25 GB free permanent storage. I am using this cloud service for the last 8 months.They have built in Audio, Video players. Streaming services are very nice
Only one issue That I faced was account on one server was not able to shares his files with the account holder of different server. Rest is best.
I congratulate the devs, all the staff members and both free and paid users on celebrating the 1st successfull anniversary.

The best cloud service provider with absolutely excellent features. Definitely a full five stars!

I feel secured with this cloud storage. Never encountered problem since I used it last October 2024.
