I bought a refurbished iPhone from Back Market expecting a properly tested device. Instead, I received a phone with serious battery issues that also overheated, even while charging. I returned it after about 10 days, within the allowed period.

The real problem wasn’t just the faulty product—it was the handling afterwards. I explained everything, including the extra money I had already spent on accessories, and was initially offered a 5% discount coupon for another purchase. Tone-deaf, given I was returning a defective phone.

That coupon was then withdrawn, with Back Market claiming it was my responsibility to have purchased it in the first place. The back-and-forth felt dismissive and unprofessional.

To top it off, customer service couldn’t even tell me how to leave a review.

Refurbished devices can fail. But the way this was handled was poor enough that I’ve lost all confidence in Back Market. I won’t be buying from them again.

with at least 11 people incapable of a follow-up done correctly by one agent

Extremely disappointing experience. I ordered a PC, and just 24 hours later, my order was cancelled without any satisfactory explanation. They then tried to make up for it by offering me a pathetic 5% discount.

This is not the first problem I've had with this company. Previously, I bought a Lenovo PC from them, and it started showing operating system errors almost immediately after purchase.

After these experiences, I will definitely not be buying from this site again. I would not recommend it to anyone. Never again.

Everything went well.. fast and reliable

Even if i bought a used product, it was like new, not a scratch on it. I bought an ipad 2024 11 inch, i was amazed how perfect it was. Thank you Back Market.

my iphone 14 pro came in perfect conditions, and actually relatively fast.

Though the product was supposed to be in an optimal condition but the were a lot of scratches

I purchased an iPhone 15 Pro Max in Excellent condition from Back Market. The phone's battery health dropped from 100% to 86% in just five months, which is completely unacceptable for a device advertised as being in excellent condition.

I contacted customer support expecting a fair solution, but they have refused to provide a refund. Their customer service has been extremely disappointing, with poor communication and no willingness to resolve the issue.

This has been one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had, and I would not recommend Back Market based on how they have handled my case.

bought a iphone 13 works absolutely fine in excellent condition and new battery. overall condition is 10/10 no scratches anywhere looks like new. Great purchase. Shout out to previous owner for keeping it like this and backmarket for giving competitive price.

They are very reliable and fast delivery 

I purchased a MacBook from this website, but it had problems from the very beginning. It did not match the product I had ordered, and it kept getting stuck in a continuous boot loop, turning on and off repeatedly.

I returned it for repair, but when it was sent back to me, it was in even worse condition than before. I then requested a refund, but they stopped responding to my messages

I purchased many used phones from Backmarket, for myself and the employees in my company. Always an extremely positive experience. One I purchased and then gave to my wife is still operating 100% after 6 years.

Bought an iPhone 14 in December 2025, and the camera lens has already fallen off twice. The first time it was "fixed" under warranty, but the technician left dirt inside the lens, ruining all my photos. Now it has fallen off again. Back Market's customer service system makes it impossible to text or talk directly to the repairer. They are offering another repair, but I honestly don't trust their quality anymore. I would like more than a repair a substitution for a correct product. The iphone supplier is BOLDBEAT MARKET maybe other refurbishers have better products but I expected backmarket guarantee the quality
