Hello

Hello,
I do not use any VPN. I use a shared internet connection, and I only use my account on one laptop and one desktop computer.
I purchased credits, but unfortunately I have not been able to use any of them because my account is currently blocked/restricted.
My credits are set to expire on October 1, but I was informed that the block may only be removed on October 10. If the restriction is removed after my credits have already expired, I will lose the credits without ever having the opportunity to use them. Horrible their service.

Permanently locked out of my account…

Permanently locked out of my account and no way of getting back in with the value of credits on the account being very substancial. The customer service rep Gustavo Cabrera was no help. I see value in the product but it's completely useless when you get locked out of your account... stay clear.

Great functionality, API & MCP

Loads of functionality, massive database of leads/people (though I feel data quality has fallen a bit in the past 1-2 years), and very punchy, capable API and MCP.

Absolutely ruined my trip

Absolutely ruined my trip
First, they let me make the booking online and select the drop off time at 6AM
When I come to pickup the campervan, they tell me that I cannot drop off the vehicle at 6am because the office opens at 8am
Now when I ask them to cancel the booking for the 2nd day and keep it just for 24 hours, they tell me i won’t get any refund even if I drop off within 24 hours of pick up.
So I pay $450 for just 24 hours

Highly not recommended
Stay away from them if you don’t want to ruin your trip

Powerful Tool for Lead Generation and Outreach

My experience with Apollo has been extremely positive. It is a very user-friendly and powerful platform that has made prospecting, lead generation, and sales outreach much more efficient. I particularly appreciate the quality and breadth of the contact and company database, along with the ability to easily filter and identify relevant prospects.

The email sequencing and automation features have also helped streamline our outreach process and save a significant amount of time. The platform provides useful insights and makes it easier to manage prospects and track engagement throughout the sales process.

Overall, Apollo has been a valuable tool for improving productivity, organizing sales activities, and making our outreach more targeted and effective. I would definitely recommend it to teams looking for an all-in-one prospecting and sales engagement solution.

Permanent ban

Permanent ban, rejected appeal, and no meaningful explanation

I approached Apollo as a business user looking for a reliable B2B prospecting tool. My experience instead became an exercise in how little recourse a customer has when something goes wrong.

The problem began with account access. Google Sign-In redirected me to a registration page with a “not_registered” error, and password-reset emails did not arrive. I contacted support to restore access to my original account and workspace.

I explicitly explained that I wanted to avoid creating a duplicate account. A corporate-email registration remained incomplete, and I informed support that I had not activated it.

Support escalated the case to its Security Team. The response was a permanent account termination, citing unspecified “product usage behavior” and a broad section of the Terms of Service. No specific action, date, or integration was identified.

I submitted a measured appeal, asking which account and workspace were affected, what activity had triggered the decision, and whether the case could be reconsidered. Apollo replied that it had reviewed the account, rejected the appeal, and would not disclose details about the activity that led to the restriction.

To be clear: I understand the need to protect a platform and keep security detection methods confidential. But protecting those methods is not the same as refusing to identify even the nature of the alleged misconduct. Without that information, a customer cannot meaningfully explain what happened, correct a misunderstanding, or address a genuine problem.

My criticism is not simply that Apollo refused my appeal. It is the combination of an irreversible outcome, a vague allegation, and no actionable explanation. In my experience, the process was rigid, opaque, and deeply dismissive of a business user's legitimate concerns.

The outcome left me unable to use the service and unable to understand what I was supposed to have done wrong.

Based on this experience, I cannot recommend Apollo to businesses that need dependable access, transparent communication, and constructive support when problems arise.

Security matters. So does accountability to the customers you expect to trust your platform.

Extremely expensive and junk data

Extremely expensive and most of the data is terrible and invalid. It charges you $99 for the plan to get leads and then you end up paying even more in credits to just download the said leads. Charges you credits for any action you take inside which makes no sense because you've already paid an arm and a leg for the subscription. Just a money grab on old outdated and junk data

Fake data

I got an unsolicited call on my personal mobile from a company that got my number through Apollo.io. I’ve never signed up to Apollo or agreed to have my personal data collected or shared.

I'd definitely be wary of the quality of the data they have, especially when they seem to have personal details that I’ve never given them. There are definitely better and more trustworthy lead gen tools out there

Wrongfully blocked 1 week ago, no resolution 🤷‍♀️

Was using what I had available in my account, connecting API with Make, applying provided instructions.
My account got flagged by the system for creating multiple accounts and blocked.
I have contacted support, provided my steps and activities during that day (my 2nd day on the platform poking around), with screenshots.

Has been one week, issue not resolved. And I’m not supposed to create a new account, as per pop up warning.
I consult multimillion SaaS and DTC brands for Tier 1-2 geos, but I guess we will never know if they could use the platform.
