Zero fee is admirable
Ace offers one of the highest exchange rates with zero transfer fees and is very convenient to use. So far, it has been one of the best apps I’ve used for sending money to Sri Lanka.
However, it’s always worth comparing the final amount received with Remitly, as Remitly may occasionally offer a slightly better exchange rate despite charging around A$1.99 per transfer.
One frustrating issue I’ve encountered is that some transfers get cancelled with a message saying they were “not authorised by the administration.” This can be quite annoying, especially when you need to send money urgently.
