From my first enquiry to the system being successfully installed, everything that was promised was delivered and on time. Everyone involved was professional and watching them carry out the various tasks was impressive. No time for tea even though we offered. I am getting close to 80 and have experienced more cowboys than John Wayne. Most people I know have had similar experiences. So hats off to Monaghan and Active 8. Well done.

My experience with Active8 started positively, but poor communication, a lack of follow-up and the handling of my complaint ultimately led me to choose another solar provider.

Difficulties arose around the consultation arrangements, and I felt that my genuine interest in purchasing a system was being questioned. Follow-up questions went unanswered, which did little to build confidence when considering such a significant investment.

The most disappointing part was the response when I raised my concerns. I work in the service industry and understand that delays and misunderstandings happen. A straightforward acknowledgement and a willingness to address the feedback could have made a real difference.

Instead, I found the subsequent communication defensive and felt that responsibility was being shifted back onto me. Rather than resolving the issue, the complaint process left me more frustrated.

Reliable communication and responsive support are important when choosing a solar provider. My experience fell well short of those expectations, and the handling of my feedback reinforced my decision to take my business elsewhere.

From initial consultation to having solar panels installed was an easy process. Everything was explained along the way. The lads installing the panels were on time, polite and left the site clean.

Great installers, but not great on follow up on missing AC Backup plug. Customer Service failed to follow up. I had to request plug from Solis (Ginlong), who were able to supply it

Can’t say enough good things about the crew that came to us in Mullingar today, 23/10/2026. Friendly, professional and courteous from start to finish. They explained everything clearly, with no fuss, got straight to work, did an excellent job, and cleaned up afterwards. They were in and out within a few hours, and we genuinely couldn’t have asked for a better crew. Highly recommended!

Work men were here on time and finished job with very little disruption to house.
