Elliot from Mitcham was really helpful on both occasions that I have contacted the co-op by phone. He followed up by emailing me information I had shown interest in. He was very informative and friendly. He was able to support me in arranging a funeral plan for my mother. I have previously visited the Rosehill branch at the beginning of the year because I work close by. They booked me an appointment, but no one arrived, which I found very unprofessional.

The team was kind and understanding. On the day everything was made easy for us. Staff were kind and respectful.

I joined on 28th August & then enquired a week later about the £200 gift voucher that was with the join up.
I was told that I’d missed the promotion because it ended on 11th June.
When I went back to the website I saw that it was on till 11th October.
I immediately rung back to be told again that I’d missed the promotion.
I really felt like it was false advertising and I wasn’t going to get it no matter what.
I cancelled my purchase sadly because I’d heard good things about Co op funerals & really wanted to stay with them but not after feeling ripped off for £200

The gentleman was very welcoming and immediately put me at ease by going through everything at a my pace .They make sure it is everything you want and you can ask questions at anytime to give you peace of mind.Would definitely recommend

An excellent experience - as unexpectedly we had a lovely time, considering how difficult the subject matter. Hannah listened to us with real care, gentleness and also professionalism, helping us with our queries. When Sue the actual undertaker came in, with her caring, easy manner, big smile and blue hair we knew we would have a few laughs and we did! I can’t praise them both more highly!! We took the Gold Plan and left feeling happy and for me, that at last I could feel safe and that my loved one is covered for this eventuality. However far or near it is.

I would have shook my head in disbelief if someone had said to me two years ago or even 18 months when my husband had suddenly and totally unexpectedly died that I would be calmly sitting discussing/arranging my funeral with people who I felt totally at ease with, on first name terms in a comfortable and caring environment. After a very positive (!) experience when arranging my husband's funeral when everything was made so smooth and easy I had already made several recommendations to others including that my bill was about a third of what others had paid even though everything both my husband and my family had requested was provided and more. So when I had made it through the different stages of mourning I had decided that when I felt up to it I would call into the branch and enquire about putting my wishes in place. Soon after I was contacted by email with details of a small discount being offered to co-op members when arranging a prepaid plan. It reminded me about going into the branch and making enquiries. This I did and returned three days later for an appointment with the relevant staff member. He was thorough but caring and answered my multiple queries. I came away with a professional paid plan in place that if I want to I can amend before my death. I cannot recommend this branch and staff too highly. Both for my husband's funeral and then this additional service which will make the process for me/ my family even smoother.

Easy to use online , everything clearly explained and set out. Options to speak to someone or arrange face to face appointment also available.

I received useful information very quickly. I was then able to make a face to face appointment within a few days, it was very important to me to have this appointment. We were able to ask questions and did not feel hurried or rushed, all our queries were taken seriously. The member of staff was polite and courteous.

This was the first time I had ever arranged a Funeral Plan let alone my own so quite a nervous experience.
However, the person guiding me through every detail was most helpful and patient. After all was completed I felt a great sense of relief and could inform my family that I had taken steps to relieve them of this onerous job in advance.

Staff were extremely helpful and listened to my questions and provided answers or found the answers if they did not have them at that time. Overall I felt confident enough to buy a plan and know that my wishes would be carried out and my family would not have to arrange or pay anything when I die.

I cannot praise my experience enough. I had the pleasure of dealing with Gordon Baird who arranged my pure cremation. There was a few problems with my bank and Gordon went over an above for me. As always as well Heather from Barrhead branch makes everything perfect.

Quick and easy to take out a plan that best suited my requirements

Was made welcome from receptionist who made a drink. James explained in detail everything involved in the silver funeral plan . Was polite and helpful.

I would have preferred to see someone in person.
But overall a good experience, nice and easy on line.

The ease of setting up the arrangement made things easy. Also, as a member getting a discount was a bonus. However, an improvement could be made with a simplified one-page guide containing the policy number and places to call with any other useful advice that would be needed in the immediate event. That would make things much easier for those left behind. A simple phone call.
