SALES DEPARTMENT – GEOGRAPHICALLY CHALLANGED
First and foremost, I would give 4, probably 5 stars for Bitdefender Anti-virus software. I use it myself on many devices.
However, personnel in the 2GO Software Sales Department, Joril in particular, lack common geographical knowledge. This particularly uneducated or unaware individual failed to send license or download information on the basis that Cyprus is not in Europe. Either he is totally ignorant or gravely and mistakenly over confident in his decision not to send the software. Moreover, the person added a comment stating, in my words not his, if the addressee though he was wrong, please let him know. Now, if this individual had some doubt, why did he, or they, not carry out the basic checks?
Cyprus is in Europe for many reasons, political and cultural reasons included. Moreover, Cyprus is even in the European Union.
Yesterday, I travelled 20km to see elderly friends and 20km back home. During the visit I advised them to purchase Bitdefender. The advert stated instant Internet service. The reply was quick and referring to FAQs there might be a short delay. I waited but returned home promising to visit again this morning for a brief window of opportunity in a busy Saturday Schedule. Another 20Km drive but no software because Cyprus is not a European country. IGNORANCE!!!! Despite 3 emails sent on the purchasers behalf I ran out of time leaving their computer unprotected because of an employee who is unaware that Cyprus is a European country. My petrol and time wasted through educational ignorance.

The problem was resolved the next day. In this age of computerization and artificial intelligence, the company—which specializes in software—processes sales 24/7 yet relies on an employee to confirm them during store business hours. There isn't even one of those annoying bots to provide guidance outside of those hours. At least the issue was resolved the following day, proving it wasn't a scam.

Tried to load the software did not get anywhere for 2 days . So requested a refund , after many many return emails , i have not had my money back.
I did not download Bitdefender i did not use any code.
; pure deception.
1st July today have received my refund been hard work to recover.
As i never did get to use the software, i cant comment on its authentity im sure there is a lot of happy customers i was not one of them .
Trying to get the refund was not easy and many emails to answer to. 2go software was hard pressed to please me and not return a refund, but in ths end they did give in.

Complete rip-off, money-back guarantee, forget it. Bought Bitdefender, but during installation you have to provide your payment method details before the new year, and everything freezes if you don't want that. In the meantime, you have already requested the code, and you can't exchange it anymore; pure deception.

When activating a Bitdefender license, it is indeed required to enable automatic renewal first. Only after doing so can you proceed with the installation. We fully understand that this is not ideal, but unfortunately, this is how Bitdefender has set up their activation process. It’s important to note that no money is charged immediately—you are only giving permission for a renewal in the following year.
The good news is that you can disable the automatic renewal right after completing the installation. This way, you prevent Bitdefender from extending your license automatically next year. You can easily do this in your Bitdefender account under “My Subscriptions.”

I made a purchase of Bitdefender from these folks but hadn't noticed that it was the wrong one for the UK. I retrieved the code and tried it and it failed. I went to their customer services and was told I could have "store credit". This wouldn't be an issue but the UK product cost less (1 year instead if 2) and I wouldn't be given the rest of my money back.
After quite a bit of to and fro it was agreed that I could have a refund and I have bought a fresh (and correct!) license from them.

i receive a new price in the email 15days bfore rennovate my license...i try to buy this license and the price was update of 40€...i bough it without any offer becuase they told me that they can not even give a little discount...after that in my bundle there was also nordvpn license for 10 computer but is working on 1 computer only. i wrote to them to figure out how to solvcew this problem ....nobody reply.

Basically i was forced to go through an auto renewal process with Bit Defender direct on their own website after having purchased a digital key from 2GO Software.
In essence, not doing due diligence on my part , having not checked the cancel auto renew from last year on bit defenders website..
It did state on 2GO softwares website you could disable the auto renewal.
So basically i purchased the key/code from 2GO then tried to paste the code into the bitdefender box only to be met by an auto renewal procedure.
The galling thing here is that from the auto renewal feature you have to pay the premium on bit defender the princely sum of £74.99 ouch !!.
IMHO beware buying a bit defender key from 2gosoftware ,having to pay twice is frankly a kick in the chops...

We would however like to clarify that you never have to pay twice for your subscription. The agreement to automatic renewal is only for the next renewal period after your current license expires. Your purchased license from us remains fully valid and active for the full subscription period you bought.
After activating the code successfully, you can disable the automatic renewal immediately in your Bitdefender account without any problems. You will still keep the full duration of your subscription.
We also clearly mention in both the product title and the product description on our website that this specific Bitdefender license requires agreeing to the automatic renewal during activation.
We are sorry to hear the process felt misleading to you, as that is certainly not our intention. Hopefully this explanation clarifies the misunderstanding and gives a better picture of how the activation process works.

Great price but very poor process and poor customer support. The simple process of sending me a subscription licence code to activate my chosen security software was complicated by having to validate my phone number via an SMS code. Tried numerous times and never received any code, was then blocked due to too many attempts and couldnt activate the product. Customer support solution was to just try again! Cancelled order and awaiting refund, will not use again.
