Vinted is breaking the law
Vinted is fine until something goes wrong (and it inevitably will).
Under contract law in England and Wales, if one person breaches the contract, they must put the other person back in the position they would have been in had the contract been correctly complied with.
If a seller sells something that is not as described/faulty etc, this is a breach of contract. The buyer should be able to either be refunded a bit to make the contract right or return it and get a full refund for free. VINTED DOES NOT DO THIS - they make THE BUYER PAY for return postage for THE SELLER'S BREACH! This completely contradicts English law. Obviously, the situation is different if you just want to return it because you change your mind/don't like it.
It is appalling that this is the case. Vinted is well known for sellers trying it on by selling unfit goods and either the buyer gives in and keeps it or the buyer pays for the postage to return, meaning the seller isn't in any worse position while the buyer is!
