Bad Experience at Vue Manchester
It was only today, a couple of weeks after seeing the Backrooms film, that my Autistic son mentioned that a good film had been ruined on his Birthday by the moth flickering across the screen throughout. He does have communication difficulties so had not raised it on the day. On the day l had noticed it but had dismissed it, as l was surprised that this could happen at a cinema with cleanliness and standards. Although after checking other reviews it seems cleanliness is not their strong point. This was the response l received from Maggie in customer service:
‘ Regarding requests for refunds or compensation, these must be made in the venue at the time of the screening. Unfortunately, as no such request was made during your visit, our customer service team is unable to process refunds or compensation retrospectively. Although staff may appear busy, they are always available and willing to assist when approached.
Once the screening has concluded and you have left the venue without raising concerns, our ability to resolve issues through customer service is limited. In such cases, we can only forward your feedback to the management team for review’. Management have NOT been in touch. Just a warning to others who may have a disability or special needs, they will not be considered.
