Disappointed by How My Replacement Order Was Handled
I placed my first order on 29 June, spending £83.40 after a friend recommended Justmylook. The order was advertised with 24-hour delivery, but unfortunately, I didn't receive it because Royal Mail lost the parcel. Had to wait for 10 days before they can do anything. I understand that this wasn't the company's fault.
What disappointed me was everything that happened afterwards.
I had to contact customer service several times via email and WhatsApp just to get updates. A replacement was eventually arranged, but when it arrived, it contained only one shampoo bottle instead of my full order. (Ordered 3 shampoos & 3 hair treatment) I wasn't informed beforehand that some items were out of stock, and partial refunds were issued without any explanation. I had to contact them again to find out what had happened to the rest of my order.
To their credit, customer service did respond to my messages and processed refunds for the unavailable items. However, after such a poor experience, I decided I no longer wanted the remaining products and requested a full refund. They agreed to refund the outstanding shampoos but required me to pay the return postage for the unopened shampoo they had sent. Although this is their policy, I felt it was unfair given that the return resulted from the way my order had been handled rather than a simple change of mind.
Overall, while the staff were polite and eventually processed the refunds, the communication throughout the process was poor. A simple email explaining that items were out of stock and that the replacement would be incomplete would have avoided a lot of confusion and frustration.
Unfortunately, this was my first experience with Justmylook and it wasn't a positive one.
