My order was despatched and was told it…

My order was despatched and was told it would be delivered on the 6th March, waited in all day and it never arrived. Tracking hadn't updated at all apart from saying it was collected and would be delivered on the 6th. Later on that day it changes to delayed and will be delivered the next working day, next working day has now passed also and guess what? Still no delivery or update on tracking.. wayfair expect me to wait until the 16th before contacting them again about it. So what should I do? Sit at home all day everyday just incase?
