Absolutely pathetic company when it comes to customer service.

I had multiple flights which were cancelled by the airline. Sembo tried to profir from the situation by charging me almost 50Euro to give me a refund even though the cancellation was from the airline.
They turned a deaf hear to my arguments.
Luckily I claimed through my visa card and wond the case. Got a full refund from my visa card provider!

I have rented cars in Germany maybe 40+ times and never had any issues. Tried this company for the first time because they appeared the cheapest. Now I understand why. They will charge you later claiming microscopic damages.
They claimed damages on the wind shield. The way both staff were inspecting the car after i returned, i haven't seen before and of course they managed to find a so called damage on the screen shield.
Unfortunately although I took pictures and video of the car before renting. I didn't take close up pics of the wind screen
They sent me a bill of around 800euros claiming they have to replace the window.
I knew such companies existed in certain tourist destinations i.e. the rent out for very cheap and then claim damages afterwards. , but never expected this in Germany.

When I told the company to prove those damages were not there before with close up pics, they said they don't have to as I signed the paper stating no damages at the start of rental.

In addition to this, the person at the counter tried to make me sign papers stating only 100km was included although i booked for unlimited. Luckily I noticed it and refused to sign. I ended up driving around 1000km and this means I would have had to pay for 900km costing 200-300 euros more.

They managed to scam me this time, but never again. Avoid at all cost! Only a short distance away you find Enterprise rental car and I never had issues with them.

I was sent a fake powerbank with horrible quality. Seller ignored me.
Made a claim via Aliexpress , they rejected it saying i provided insufficient info and cant prove it.
So this website is full of fakes and sellers get away.

After signing up to one newsletter, I started being spammed by other newsletters using beehiv platform , The other newsletter I never signed up for and pure spam. I tried to unsubscribe but still get bombarded. Was very difficult to find a customer service email address of beehiiv. I finally found one and sent them an email complaining their platform was being used for sending spam and possible phising. They havent responded....

I have been leaving both positive and negative reviews on this website for years but little did I expect I now feel I have to leave a negative review on Trustpilot itself.
After leaving a 1 start review regarding a dodgy website, Trustpilot has contacted me 3 times asking me for various information/verification that my review was genuine and that I was in fact a genuine customer. Each time I provided the input they requested yet they kept asking me further questions. I even provided a receipt as evidence that I had made a donation to that website, and they still came back asking for even more. Each time they said unless I revert they would remove my review.
My conclusion here is since this has never happened before, this must be a paid customer of Trustpilot and hence Trustpilot was making it extra difficult to leave a negative review.

If only they would do this type of due diligence when someone leave a fake 5 star review which is all over their website.

Sad to say but this makes me lose my trust in Trustpilot.

First time I used it. Wanted to donate 10 but ended up giving 12 due to cotizup adding 2 euros donation for them. I try many times to remove it but seems they make it difficult. They shouldnt be adding this extra automatically but instead ask clearly to avoid any indeliberate action.
