I agree with the other negative comments. My the ice maker on my Samsung fridge freezer failed to dispense. Glotech would only come out with advance payment for the repair and part. I disputed which part they wanted to order since the freezer makes ice, it’s part of the dispenser cover that is loose inside. They insisted on ordering the whole ice maker. I confirmed I would only pay if the part was refundable if it was incorrect. This was confirmed by Lucy. On the day of the repair Lucy called me but the call went to VM and they sent a text at 08:16. When I called back at 08;24 she told me they’d ordered the part because “they couldn’t contact me” despite the supplier claiming it would be a special order and so non refundable. Lucy then claimed that it was an over her authority to give me a refund and would escalate the issue. If she’s authorised to verbally agree a refund two days earlier then she has the authority to agree a refund. I immediately contacted Amex who havr arranged a disputed. Avoid Glotech!

Great website with some lovely patterns and yarns. The teddy pattern is great for using up a stash of old wool. Relatively easy to follow and make up.

We had a delightful technician make a few repairs to our large sliding glass side door. It’s about 16 years old and showing a few signs of wear and tear which were repaired quickly and efficiently. Great service .

The Kenwood patisserie chef is great and I have already made some excellent brownies, using the chocolate melting function, which was excellent.
Only downside which took off one star is the app. Truly woeful compared with others (eg Magimix). Very few recipes, poor design and functionality and not tailored for my Kenwood products.

Colin our Gas Safe plumber was excellent. We had some issues with our boiler and radiators which he completely rectified. Very professional and friendly.

I’ve been struggling to reduce my handicap so returned to Pachesham to see the wonderful James Worthington. The facilities are excellent and the follow up video was superb with good commentary and tips to improve and work on.

I ordered a pair of Astro wall lights on 11 November. Despite chasing they still hadn’t arrived by 11 December, in time for my electrician to fit them. Lamp Twist never provided any delivery updates or information. When I tried to cancel the order for a refund I was offered a “discount” for the inconvenience and Lamp Twist refused a refund (or what they referred to as a voucher). Obviously the niceties of the Consumer Credit Act and the phrase “reasonable terms” elude them. Thank goodness for Amex, which provided a refund and went into bat for me in the dispute.

Very happy with Ransomes. We wanted a few new door flaps for our JL freezer. The website was easy to navigate and the comments helped us make an informed choice. Fast delivery and very well wrapped and protected. Highly recommended

The Partners In Wine picnic rug is fantastic. We lost our much-loved 40 year old rug and struggled to find something as nice to replace it. The PIW rug is lovely to sit on and well padded. The pouch for valuables is a brilliant idea and perfect to store the other USP of this rug, the tent pegs. We used it on a windy day and really appreciated being able to pin it down. A lovely product from a small firm. Highly recommended.

I purchased a picnic rug to replace a very old one we lost after 40 years. This new one is well made, a delight to sit on and the tent pegs make it secure on a breezy day.
