The engineer William was very good. He came as a follow up after the problem had been diagnosed, but seemingly with incomplete information. Yet was able to find a solution to provide a fix without having to arrange another visit. Called ahead of time to tell us when we should expect him in Ascot.

I had an issue with my washing machine, the drum was filling up with clean water in between washes and I was concerned it would end up flooding out when I go on holiday. I contacted Glotech, arranged a call out, although it hadn't filled up for a week and the engineer text me to let me know he was on the way. So far so good. I had googled what was probable cause, water inlet seal had probably perished. The engineer arrived and had the very part with him! All replaced within 30 minutes, (which included him popping outside to take a phone call), said the machine was clean, no blockages else where so good to go. Two days later, I use the machine and during the washing I notice water is coming up through various areas of my click & fit flooring tiles. I check the washing machine, neither the inlet pipe connection or the outlet connection were wet so I then put my hand under the machine, and discovered water was coming out rapidly from under the machine and going underneath my flooring (only had it down a year and it wasn't cheap!) I telephoned Glotech, obviously a bit distressed beacuse my property was being flooded. I asked for someone to come out and was advised of what the costs would be for a re-visit. I stated I wouldn't be paying anything, the machine never leaked prior to the engineer fitting the new part. I can only think that the engineer hasn't tightened something properly. No manager or engineers available on a weekend, they would get someone to call me on Monday. It was confirmed during the telephoine conversation that the engineers report stated no leaks as well. I'm looking forward to a refund £235 inc the part plus the cost of the machine to suck the water out from under my flooring and not to mention any other cost I may yet incur if I have to replace the flooring, experience damp issues etc. I certainly won't be using this company again in the future.
Update. So despite our best efforts, water was still flooding out this morning so I called an emergency plumber. The water was coming out of the water inlet connector. It's his opinion that the engineer must have bashed it when pushing the washing machine back in damaging the connection so even though we thought we'd isolated the water to the machine, we hadn't. It's been an extremely stressful experience

Although it was late afternoon when William called, he was well on top of the job He diagnosed the problem with the washing machine very quickly and was able to fix it on the spot It was obvious that he is very experienced and proficient
