Me encontré con Mariano Angarolla en el pitwall del GP de Madrid y le conté un poco sobre el Team Content Delivery System que Globant desarrolló para la F1 Lo que hicimos con esta tecnología fue centralizar y optimizar la enorme cantidad de video y datos que producen las cientos de cámaras que hay en una carrera. Los equipos usan esa información para decidir en tiempo real, y además para planificar y mejorar su desempeño a lo largo del campeonato El sistema lo usan tanto los equipos como los pilotos. Se imaginarán que no hay nadie más obsesionado con su rendimiento que un piloto de F1. Así que los datos no los miran sólo los ingenieros: muchas veces son los propios pilotos los que se loguean para estudiar las imágenes y los datos de sus carreras. Es un orgullo saber que algo que construimos en Globant ayuda a los mejores del mundo a seguir empujando los límites.
