Food good. Lacking transparency on price increase.
My cats like the food, although on the expensive end. My complaint is on the lack of transparency on the price increase and for the customer service response in accordance to that. When we were notified about the price rise in the next subscription I wasn't able to get a straight answer from them for how much I should expect to be charged, and instead they kept saying the new price will appear in September, after your next order has been dispatched August. So basically I was told to wait for a surprise of aome mystery amount increase. Also the packaging sometimes arrives shattered, and the food exposed because it's frozen it doesn't leak everywhere though. Be more transparent on your cost increase, it wasn't even in the notification.

Excellent company always a friendly cotton the phone if you have any problems and if in the rare case you do. They sort them out straight away. Just a shame they use DPD to deliver as they are the worst delivery company except for the odd decent one!

I'm afraid my dogs will not eat this food but I just rang to cancel my subscription and ask for a refund for money taken from my account today to be refunded and the delivery to be stopped. The gentleman I spoke to was very courteous and helpful and has promised to return my payment and stop the delivery . Great customer service.

The food is good if DPD don't let it spoil and defrost
The food is good as far as Bundy is concerned but we constantly have problems with delivery. DPD is not set up for food delivery. Summer has been a nightmare again.
When you get a delivery notification and don't happen to be in, no matter what i put on the 'leave in safe place' they always just leave it by the front door (which we dont use, our entrance is the back) in the sun and dont ring the bell so we can't talk to the driver and we dont know its there.
The amount of times the frozen food has defrosted by the time weve got home gets worse every year. 9/10 ive either got home in time for it not to have been ruined or Bella & Duke have refunded or replaced the inedible food but the last delivery is completely ruined.
I received notification that it would be delivered on a day that I wasnt going to be in at all until the night after so I stated 'leave it by the back door' so my cat sitter could have found it. It changed the delivery to the day after where I wasnt back until the evening and had no cat sitter. It was left at the front door again in the sun, no ring of the ring doorbell for me to have spoken to them and the whole lot was defrosted again. This time, no reply from bella & Duke to the emails I have sent. I have lost a whole box of food. I dont know if DPD stored it properly over night or was it defrosted from the original monday delivery when i didnt get it until Tuesday night.
Im trying my dog on different foods and when he finds another one he likes i will be switching away from B&D all due to DPD

My dog absolutely loves Bella and duke. He gets so excited when he sees the packs and always has a clean plate. He has a shiny soft coat and a healthy digestive system. He loves all the flavours and as a treat he has the rabbits ears. I also use the biodegradable poo bags but they could be better if they had handles to tie together. 100% love Bella and duke
