Terrible return process. Read terms carefully. Short window to return. No free shipping. Required I literally scrub the bottom of brand new shoes before return when I only put on to see if they fit. Many emails back and forth. Slow refund process. Recommended a size that didn't exist. Generally feels like a brand not suitable to DTC. I left feeling offended.

Koio claims that its sneakers are made in Europe. And yet, if you try to purchase a pair of sneakers in Europe, you are charged for shipping an obscene amount (120.95 EUR or nearly 60% of the product price in my case). This includes shipping costs and import taxes, which makes me think that they ship the product form the USA. So, again, produced in the European Union, shipped to the European Union from the USA. This is either a scam or peak stupidity.
I will, of course, delete this review if I am wrong. Right now I'm just dumbfounded.

Customer Service is an Insulting Waste of Time

After having a pair of Koio’s for only 2 years, my shoe laces busted through one of the eyes in the eyestay. Additionally, the soles are thin and weak and wore completely through. Also, important to note that Koio’s are one of ten sneakers in rotation so they’ve not even been worn that much.

After I left feedback on the website, customer service reached out to me and asked for photos and a description of what’s wrong. After I did so, they wrote me back saying that it was all normal wear and tear and they were out of warranty anyway and offered me a discount code.

I have no idea why they made me go to all of the work of photographing the shoes and writing to them in detail about what happened if they were just going to say the shoes were out of warranty anyway.

Long story short, the shoes are poor quality, Koio doesn’t stand by their products, and they have bad customer service. Highly recommend getting your shoes elsewhere.

Excellent sneakers that last a long time. Quality has remained consistent the last 8+ years. I wear them everywhere and own 7 pairs. Great customer service too.

I needed a new pair of Koio Capri Triple White sneakers on very short notice and selected next day air shipping. Before placing my order, I emailed customer support to make sure they could get them to me in time. I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly Denisse responded. We exchanged several emails, and every reply was prompt and helpful. Thanks to her outstanding support, I decided to take the chance, and I’m glad I did. My order shipped the same day and arrived the very next day as promised. I truly appreciate Denisse and the team for going above and beyond to make it happen.

My previous pair was purchased in February 2023, and they are still in great condition. I continue to wear them regularly, but I wanted a fresh pair for going out.

The new version seems to have a few subtle improvements. The large heel logo is now smaller and more refined. The logo on the tongue is now a smaller text font, and the tongue itself has a bit more padding. Overall, they still have the same comfortable feel right out of the box.

For sizing, I typically wear a US 11 to 11.5 or EU 44 across most brands. I went with a US 11 in the Capri Triple White, and they fit exactly as expected with just the right amount of wiggle room, which is how I prefer my sneakers.

Between the exceptional customer service and the quality of the Koio Capri Triple White sneakers, Koio continues to impress me. They are easily my favorite all white sneakers, and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a premium all white sneakers.

I got a bill from fedex for duties and tax even though their page and e-mails clearly states that that is included. I wrote to their support several times but after the initial response, i got no more answers and have received a reminder for the bill from Fedex!

I did not get any mails from you since 25.06. I sent you both bills and asked multiple times for updates since nothing was done and i got no more answers.
What you expect from the tracking page? I received the package, yes and receive the bill from fedex after it, you see nothing of it on the tracking page.
I sent you the bills as attachment with bill numbers and all the information on it, as attachments. Call or write to them to solve it! I paid the taxes and duties to YOU already. Your page and bills state this clearly.
