I backed Popur via the Kickstarter campaign in 2025 and the S7 unit was delivered at the end of 2025.
Once we got it all assembled and prepared…our (then) 2 cats took to it immediately which I was pleased about.
Because the big cats used it, our new kitten took to it straight away as soon as she moved out of her kitten space. In fact, she preferred it to the normal tray that she had upstairs.
We use it with a good clumping litter and it performs exactly as it is supposed to. No fuss, no smell. And easy to manage and to keep clean.
Happy cats = happy owners. I’d strongly recommend this.

I was very nervous getting this box. First, my girl had rejected a Litter Robot because it was enclosed. And I'm disabled facing spine surgery where I cannot bend or lift for 12 weeks. And Purrincess Ellie wants the box clean after every deposit. She came from an awful hoarding situation. So I set up the Popur in the same room as her huge open messy box. For two weeks she avoided it. I put some of her old litter in with new litter. Left it unplugged. I finally just removed her old one and went with the S7. She made cat complaints all afternoon but then used it twice during the night. I turned it on the next morning. It was so quiet! And she thinks it's fun to watch. She started setting it off with the proximity sensor. Fortunately, there are multiple setting and I was able to set it up so she can't dovthat anymore. She does watch it after she uses it. The receptacle for waste and the litter area is quite large. I actually forgot about it and it ran almost out of litter, necessitating me cleaning the liner, which was easy to access. And I noticed that the sides are higher than her old box, which means far less litter on the floor. Now I check it a couple times a week. This will make it so much easier for me! One thing I didn't know about was the two different apps, one for each model. It's not listed in the instructions. After a couple of hours of frustration, I wrote to customer service and got a quick response. Once I got the right app for the S7, setup was easy. And there isn't odor from the waste receptacle unless you open it for a prolonged time. I have started putting either baking soda or activated charcoal (which works better) in the box to neutralize some of the waste odor. It's not normally an issue except when replacing the waste bag.

I have had the s7 for almost a year and its great! There are 4 cats in my house ranging from 6lbs to 13lbs and the only issue is that my tiny one is 16 and struggles to get up into it sometimes, and the largest cat accidentally flicks some litter over one end cap. I asked popur and they sent me 3d print files for the accessories that are currently out of stock so I dont have to wait! I switched from my corn based arm and hammer litter to the slide platinum litter as my corn litter was sticking (corner digging pee-er). I use the footbath liners off amazon for spa chairs to replace the bags and they are so quick and easy. This is way better than the impossible to clean litter robot I had before.

I have had mine for 3 years, and my cats have no problem using it. It's well worth the money I spent on it. I got the S5.

I’ve been looking at automatic litter boxes for years. The litter robot seemed like the one everyone was getting but it looked so big and ridiculously expensive. I was also reading some of the issues with it so I kept investigating and found Popur. I read reviews again and again and waited for a sale. Then the new model came out. The S7 SLS. I bit the bullet and ordered and I LOVE IT! I love the App. I love how quiet it is. I love that there’s absolutely no smell because it didn’t fit where I had my old litter box so I had to move the litter box into my bedroom, which I wasn’t thrilled about, but you would never know that it’s there. Even my scaredy-cat uses it! I have to say one of the most impressive things is the app and all the different setting options that you have for different Cat personalities! I’ve only had it for a week, so hopefully it will continue to impress me but so far I highly recommend!

Amazing service even three years after purchasing from them. Highly recommend!

I love my popur, has been great sense I had trouble with the old boxes cause I'm disabled and it helps alot. Been 2 years and my part Maine coon road the thing up then jumped but missed hit the open door and broke the lid opener, now i gotta unplug it everytime to open the door till next month lol but love this thing..

It seems like a great design, but it just doesn't last. It's bad enough that a $500 litter box breaks in under two years, but what makes it exceptionally bad is the way that it breaks. Mine now frequently gets stuck fully upright so it's impossible for my cat to use it. If you're counting on this to go away for a day or two, your poor cat may be stuck without a litter box.

I’ve had the Popur X5 for nearly three years, and I honestly couldn’t fault it. I have two large male Ragdolls who both use and love it. It’s user friendly and super easy to clean.
Recently, I ran into an issue with the sensor and reached out to support. Because the problem couldn't be fixed with a simple replacement part, Popur offered to send me a brand new machine, even though mine was completely out of warranty! Since I was heading overseas and couldn't wait for the X5 to restock, they offered me the new S7 model at an extremely heavy discount instead.
They got the new machine to me within just a few days, and I’m about to set it up now. You can tell they’ve really upgraded the design, and I can already see it’s going to be even better than the last.
The Popur team was fantastic to deal with via Facebook Messenger, and they even kept tabs on the delivery since they knew I was on a tight timeline. I’m so impressed with their level of customer service, and I can’t wait for my boys to try out their new box!

The only downside I must say is the app it isn’t very user friendly. If they update the app to be more reliable, this machine would truly be flawless.

I have an x5. Been a great automatic litter. Though we have had a couple of faulty parts. The service has continued to be outstanding from Popur on facebook.
Each time sending the replacement part at no charge except for the shipping fee.
I would be a return customer for the sheer customer service alone!!

I can't say enough about how amazing this litter box is. I never wanted one because all of the models seemed to be the cat going into some closed litter box and honestly, no body likes using a porta-potty - especially cats with their great sense of smell. So the open box design grabbed my attention first, and the fact that the used litter is in a closed compartment so NO SMELL leaks out! I have two 1-year old cats and they both took to it immediately (our girl used it while I was still sitting there setting up the app). I've had it just over two weeks and haven't had to do a thing. It works like a charm! There is zero smell, it operates quietly, and I am now convincing all my cat-owning friends that they need this in their lives lol.

Also, I want to give a huge shoutout to their customer service - I have asked a million questions and not only do they respond to my emails super promptly, but have been proactive and beyond helpful, providing additional information they think may be helpful and interesting. Sabrina - you're the best!!

My Popur S7 arrived in January and was easy to setup. My cats are 13 and 18 lbs and both cats are long. One cat was reluctant to use it. Customer Service provided tips via social media that were helpful and it's been our only box since the end of February. In March, one cat had a UTI that we discovered because the box kept being triggered to clean. The animal hospital staff were intrigued to hear about how my litter box app alerted me with all the entries about the cat leaving the box without doing any business. Now that cat is on a diuretic that has him drink/pee more than normal. It is making the box more difficult to clean as he always uses the same spot and the litter is sticking to the liner. Customer Service was prompt in responding to my issue.

Love love love the s7 and my cats do too! I just had knee surgery a month ago, and the ease of the s7 is the only thing that kept our operation running smoothly while I was incapacitated. We still run a LR4 as the backup box, but the cats definitely prefer the s7 and use it as their first choice! I would recommend using a low dust litter to keep the surfaces near the litter box cleaner.

Fit litter dosent work grates still to small for eco litter and dosent clean crystal well enough masive ammonia smell need a 12 to 14 mm grate

I like my Popur S7 litter box. I had some issues initially but after changing my cat litter to a finer grained litter it’s working well. Support were helpful to me when I contacted them.

The litter box is amazing and well thought out… The customer service is like something personnel from back in the day …when customer service was actually a thing. No excuses just resolutions … I researched these automatic litter boxes for months before purchasing . I now have two looking to get a third. No fear ordering from this company even if you have an issue they are on it and it is resolved quickly.

The product is very well designed and thought out. Both our cats took to it without any issues. Customer service is responsive to questions promptly and kindly. Very happy with this purchase.

The Popur S7 is the best litter robot I’ve ever had. I tried the Litter Robot, and the Neakasa. Everything else has a design flaw in that the litter smells as it accumulates. My cat is such a princess that when she smells it too she will go elsewhere and pee on top of clothes, etc. She finally stopped doing that with the Popur S7 because it stores and seals the used litter separately. Genius.

Machine arrived quickly. Earlier than expected.
It works. Like really works. Cats love it.

We’ve had ours for over a year now and it is great. It works exactly the way it’s supposed to. Our cat is not afraid of it, and offer watches it work. We have a Maine Coon, so a big box was important. This does exactly what we needed. It keeps the litter box clean and never smells. I’d definitely recommend.
