Registered in Sheffield England but no one spoke English and had little familiarity on a transaction on my Banking App. After hours of emails, chats and even a phone call I’m no closer to getting a resolution. Why am I sending money? Who is this person? How did you meet them and the interrogation goes on. When your money has restrictions. Digital exchanges are supposed to speed up and simplify transactions but this simply isn’t true …I’m still trying to identify those rules, but when ‘they’ decide for compliance reasons to ask questions on why you are sending your money you’re treated like a suspect. Heaven forbid you would want to send some money to a friend to help them out. This isn’t a service, the hours I’ve wasted trying to explain a pending transaction on my Banking App. Their stock answer is for you to send a PDF of statement of account to prove where the funds come from!! I’ve sent four so far but I’m stuck in a Catch 22 situation when my transaction is pending on the app but not processed so doesn’t show on a Statement. I know there are rules to protect from scammers and services to address financial misdoings but this isn’t a solution. My money in limbo and I have to find another way to transfer whilst waiting for my money to be refunded. Save yourself a headache this is a waste of time and effort go elsewhere as customer service is a joke.

I honestly regret using Remit Choice.

I made a transfer to an MTN Ghana number and, due to an error with the transaction, the money needed to be reversed. I have been following up with Remit Choice for ONE WHOLE MONTH, yet this issue is still unresolved.

What makes this even more frustrating is that I have already provided Remit Choice with the reversal ID needed to help process the reversal. Despite giving them this information and repeatedly following up, nobody has properly contacted MTN Ghana to initiate the reversal.

One whole month! 😡

This is someone’s hard-earned money, and I find it completely unacceptable that a simple reversal can take this long without any meaningful action.

What is the point of using a money-transfer service if customers cannot trust the company to support them when something goes wrong? At this point, I honestly feel that having the Remit Choice app is pointless because I have no confidence that they will help me if I make another mistake with a transfer.

I am extremely disappointed with Remit Choice and the level of customer service I have received. I would seriously advise anyone considering using this service to think carefully before trusting them with their money.

I am sharing my experience publicly because customers deserve to know how this company handles customer problems.

Done a transfer which never happened. Now it’s a pain to get your money back as well. It is better to use some other apps. It was my biggest mistake to use their transfer service. On top their customer services is bullshit.

I have used their services as verified user, since 2018.Recently They have tried so hard to promote their services,I wanted to utilise their services in order to give a chance for them,I could easily send payments thouh other remittance companies, however i have initiated 3 different payment but my experience turned out to be unpleasant.I found their services for payments are troubled inadequate improper.Their customer services are not satisfactoryi would not recomemmend to use their services..I have shared my Customer ID with their escalations team many times but they didnt help at all.Finanly they imposed new policies existing customers causing and creating difficulties for reverifiying the account.Now they have segregating discriminating improper inadequate inconsistent terms rules impositions, it s not convinientbtheir troubled services anymore.. Apologies dos not resolve anything
In the new world order, the game is now played with new rules. Alongside traditional banks, we have our new babies, our new neobanks; financial institutions trying to exist alongside traditional banks and neobanks are struggling to survive and attract customers. However, many financial institutions like REMITCHOICE cannot provide efficient, effective, customer-focused services to their customers, and their service fees are also very expensive. There are very serious and widespread grievances regarding the practices, working methods, criteria, and policies of these types of intermediary institutions. These grievances are increasing. Customers who wish to use the services of such financial institutions not only fail to receive proper service, but also face the risk of losing or damaging their financial assets and funds. Furthermore, these financial institutions, by concealing the details of their criteria and policies under the guise of internal procedures and rules, suddenly close customer profiles and/or accounts/cards, never reopening them, and discarding customers by devaluing and alienating them, continue to hide behind their rules, failing to provide fair, discriminatory, unjust, impartial, healthy, and successful service. They disregard the trust of their customers after serving them for a certain period. After a certain period, they continue to harm their clients' financial lives by kicking them out. Moreover, despite only providing services as intermediary institutions and profiting from their clients, they choose to discipline their clients with their money, hiding their practices from them and discarding them. Because the owners and businesses of these intermediary institutions are unknown, the customer representatives they employ cheaply lack sufficient training and therefore cannot provide proper customer support services. These customer representatives continue to harass their clients with their work style and service approach.

As potential customers, we should no longer give priority to these types of financial institutions, these intermediary institutions; we shouldn't work with them. Instead, we can work with traditional legal banks or neobanks. Because our traditional banks and neobanks provide much better service, they don't devalue and discard their customers. They have lower-cost services than financial institutions (intermediary institutions like REMITCHOICE). We can start removing intermediary financial institutions from our lives. We shouldn't allow them to treat us like slaves with their hidden rules. These types of institutions harm our financial lives and degrade us. We don't need them. Let's not work with these institutions. We have many traditional banks and neobanks that provide much more customer-focused, efficient, effective, and lower-cost services. Don't let intermediary financial institutions provide you with poor service and devalue you. Let's stay away from financial institutions. It's time to throw these financial institutions in the trash. We will not allow them to devalue you, harass you, mock you, hide everything from you, and act superior to you with their nonsense like, "For security and regulatory reasons, we cannot share detailed information about the review process or internal decision-making processes."

Easy to use and there service amazing (With reference noman ishaq. )

This is honestly the worst money transfer app you would ever use. They will frustrate you before releasing the money to the recepient. They will ask for unnecessary bank statements and pay slips, and even after sending them, will still not release your money. They will ask why your monthly salary does not match the amount you are sending, forgetting that people do save money when they are paid.

The frustration is not worth it!!!! There are better money transaction apps with higher rates.

The customer service is one of the worst! They’ve been given a script they all follow and will not be of any help.

Such a pathetic customer services. Better not to use. There response time is even worst.

I advise anyone trying to use this company for sending money to Africa or anywhere else not to do it. You will cry.

At first, I thought the other reviewers were making things up or exaggerating their experiences. Unfortunately, after using their service myself, I realized the negative reviews were true.

This company is horrible and does not care about its customers or the negative reviews people leave.

I sent an urgent transfer to my brother because he needed the money immediately. After more than 7 hours, the funds still had not arrived. I contacted customer service several times, but they only gave vague responses and kept telling me to wait without explaining the delay.

Since the money had not been delivered, I requested that the transfer be cancelled so I could use another company. They refused to cancel it.
.I contacted them again, but nothing changed.

They then told me it would take five days to receive my refund. I was Ok but they Didn't

I had no choice but to call my bank and report the transaction fraudulent

Companies such as Remitly, Taptap Send, Sendwave, and others complete transfers within minutes.

I have never experienced such delays or poor customer service with other providers.

Please, please refrain yourself from using this company.

Do not risk your hard-earned money or put your family through unnecessary stress.

My experience was stressful, frustrating, and extremely disappointing from beginning to end. I will never use this service again.

I hope my experience helps others avoid the same frustration and choose a company that respects customers, communicates honestly, processes transfers quickly, and values your trust.

Kept my funds for over a week now. Asked for documents I sent them then wanted documents from two years past . The advisors keep you waiting for a long time to respond absolutely terrible company no levels of customer service at all

Remit choice help me to make transfer far away to suport my family amd other for studing. This service is really hejpful and fast. I'm very satisfied.
