After reading many reviews I write to include my experience. I ordered a tag in May, paid and still after several emails waiting for delivery. I feel ripped off.

I dont like the fact that you cant track a lost pet my cat got out and been out for 4 days and it says she is around my house and the dot the shows on the map moves around but when you go look for the dot outside there is no cat there .

It worked for finding my dog. When I went to add my second dog Crumb refused payment, going into my account I found account details that did not belong to me. Trying communicate with crumb was none existent and appalling. Secondly I got emails saying that they were sorry I was leaving here is an offer. I had not cancelled at that time. After no joy in crumb sorting any of the situation out I decided to end my account with crumb only to find that the cancel button never works or there was something wrong. I sent emails asking for my account to be deleted and nothing yet.
I have been trying for over a month to get a resolution to the issue.

Milo lost his tag and they replaced it straight away. A very quick response thank you

Scam , signed up for a free tags got them paid £3 postage then took £4.99 from my bank then took £12 for a subscription I did not ask for . Avoid at all cost

I found out there was a fee and relized I could just put my phone number on a tag on my dog for free. Then I read the reviews here and checked my Paypal account just in case. Crumb was ALREADY in my recurring payment section after they got my info when I paid the $4 shipping fee for the tag. Glad I looked!!

Was thinking this was a good idea for my two dogs who would be going more rural in a recent move.
Ordered the tags and then was receiving lots of emails about activating the tags which was annoying. I did set them up which asked numerous details and then the app wouldn't go further until I activated, in the top of my screen it mentioned premium benefits in a small bar, I didn't want those do I ignored and didn't touch it. I couldn't go further until I activated the profiles and I wanted to make sure I had completed the tags. I pressed activate and as soon as I did I was shown a notification from my bank the £12.00 had been taken from my bank account. I hadn't been asked to agree to anything I had not been asked if I wanted to sign up to a subscription service and been explained about it etc. I had not seen any boxes to click against to agree to terms conditions for subscriptions etc.
I went into the account and saw I had been put on a premium which was due to come out again in a months time, I cancelled this. I also found it frustrating tat the card used was shown as default card had a button next to saying use as default but I couldn't toggle this button off it was faded out, I hadn't linked any card to this account.
No company should be taking money without you authorising nor should they be setting this up on a regular payment without this being made aware to you at the time of activation and they should not be having a card linked to your account without your knowledge, keep it above board and make people aware of costs and preferences and asking people to add a card if they do choose etc is a better way to do business. Disappointing for a service that could be great but I imagine they will roll with the people who pay and not be too concerned with these reviews.

Do not use this company …..they cheat you they are underhanded …….they do not explain it will cost you £7 or £9 per month ….this must of happened when o sent the £3 postage …somehow they got my bank details ….i have asked my bank to cancel payments .
They have now taken two payments ….My dog had to sadly be put to sleep on 27th July …..I have requested any payment to be suspended immediately …..they sent me details of how to cancel it myself !! …..it’s not easy to cancel payment …at aged 75 years ..I do not want this hassle I am on high blood pressure medication …it’s rea lly stressing me out ..they just don’t care …it’s all about business and money …….a good one for RIP off Britain programme …my next move !

I’m only giving a star because they refunded me. I purchased a tag which said there were 2 options for usage. Free and a monthly subscription of £9.00. I only wanted to use the free option but when I activated the tag they immediately took the payment. I thought as I didn’t put any payment details in that I was activating the free option. Unbeknownst to me they took payment straight through the app. I would not recommend this company at all

Just a scam really promotes its free when it clearly isn’t… every stage there is a cost don’t waste your time these guys don’t care about your pets they care about profits

Easy and fast to set up.

The subscription is pricey and they automatically signed me up when I ordered a ”free” tag without making it clear it’s a paid subscription so that feels a little sketchy. However the tag is affordable but the peace of mind knowing our pet is registered and traceable is priceless.

Fraudulent company as charges a subscription fee without letting you know. By the time you realise they have made 3 months fee for nothing. You don’t get to use the service you’re paying for.
SCAM SCAM SCAM. STAY AWAY.
Advertising as free then charge you postage which you agree and then charge you subscription that you don’t agree.

Very underhanded company, just take money from you're account without you being told. I will cancel this subscription, they want £108.00 per year is a joke. I need another subscription like a hole in the head. I will just get a dog tag with a phone number on it. Dont need this service!!!

I ordered a tag but it never arrived, I suspect this is a scam.

Very sneaky company. No mention of a monthly subscription and then set the thing up. Bang! £9 out of my account. I realised I never give my card details, apart from paying for the post, so they must of kept it and taken it then. They shouldn’t be allowed to do this.

Crumb app is amazing. Love the peace of mind that my dogs are safe with how it works. Highly recommend for your loved fur babies

This is the second replacement tag I have had to order due to the tags being lost when the split ring attached to the tag opens and the tag falls off.
This is obviously a design flaw and requires fixing.
The free replacements is a great idea and much appreciated but I feel if the issue was eliminated a lot less tags would require replacement.

Very underhand way of taking £9 a month!! You obviously have to give some sort of payment details to pay the postage for the ‘free’ tag, they then use these details to take a monthly premium subscription! Cancelled soon as I realised but that was only after they helped themselves to a payment, not made clear from the start, very disappointing!
