After a great few days at Odoo Experience in Brussels, here's a quick recap of the new Moss <> Odoo integration for anyone who didn't get to the booth for a demo. Moss now connects directly to Odoo, so every type of company spend flows straight into your accounting. Card transactions, supplier invoices, employee reimbursements and payments can now all be exported with the account codes, tax codes, vendors and analytic accounts already applied. That means no more wasted time manually moving spend to your ledger, exporting, re-coding, chasing receipts and fixing dimensions that didn't map properly. Some key features to note: ✳️ Connect in minutes, with no CSV headaches, no code, no configuration errors and step-by-step setup support. ✳️ Sync your chart of accounts, vendors, tax codes and cost centres from Odoo, and map accounting periods to your close. ✳️ Achieve a faster, cleaner close, with automatically generated journal entries and payment statuses that sync both ways. We asked 300+ finance professionals across the EU and UK what worries them most about AI. Data privacy and security topped the list at 57%, followed by AI making critical decisions without review (40%), and no clear regulations or oversight (37%). Put together, these top three all boil down to keeping the human in control. It matches what we heard throughout our research, and it's something a lot of Moss customers tell us too. Finance teams are open to AI, as long as they can see and check what it's doing. The team spent an action-packed couple of days at the Accounting Summit in Düsseldorf this week, meeting finance teams from across the region. On Wednesday we hosted a breakfast with our partners DONE!Financials, complete with proper barista coffee. And then to top it off, our CEO and Co-Founder Ante Spittler won the Speaker Award for his masterclass on the Olympia stage on day two of the summit. He made the case that automation isn't the finish line for finance teams, it's the starting point. The difference comes afterwards when you can use the freed-up time and reliable data automation gives you to actively steer the business. Our finance team closes Moss's books using Moss, which makes them some of the biggest champions of what we build. So we asked our in-house experts to walk us through how they use Moss day to day. First up is Clara Oppinger, our Finance Manager, who first joined Moss as a Finance Intern but now runs our daily accounting and tax work. Clara's work shifts with the calendar, with month-start being mostly closing the previous one. As she puts it, it's "fun, but very stressful at times". Later in the month it's pre-accounting invoices, the weekly payment run, exporting into DATEV, and clearing the OPOS list. It was the last genuinely manual, time-consuming step left in pre-accounting an invoice, and it was requested by our own team before we built it.

Welcome to our new CFO, Arno Ruben Schleussner. Arno joins Moss with 15+ years in finance, including senior roles at Klarna and N26. He's spent his career building and scaling finance teams, so he knows all too well the friction our customers deal with every day.
