I paid £4000 for Watford Boots Phonak hearing aids just over a year ago, the RH one was faulty and has "gone for repair" no idea what it will be returned, no alternative hearing device in the meantime. I'm nearly 90 can't socialise, can't hear tv or radio, feel let down and miserable.

I was told that I could have an in the ear hearing aid but when I went for the test she tried to say that this wasn’t suitable and I had to argue to get what I wanted She was also pushing the more expensive one and I didn’t enjoy the experience

The actual ear examination was first class but you sorely need some form of reception. There was nobody to recognise that I had arrived, I was waiting 10 minutes beyond my appointment time and was close to leaving when a head appeared from a closed door!! Once inside all was well.

He was patient and the ability to put me at ease nothing was to much trouble for him

Was advised to come to boots hagley road as they had a wider range of designer frames. Walked in, there were two members of staff talking amongst eachother at the main desk they did not even greet us.
Most of the designer frames were locked and required staff to open it however no one approached us, though we were browsing for 10minutes
The shop was quiet with 1 customer including us, disgusting customer service. Won't be returning there again.
