Once again very inaccurate
Once again very inaccurate. Stelo says 102, finger pricks say 80.
I called about the last monitor and they basically shrugged it off as within the guidelines. Unacceptable. I am on lion diet right now and need to make sure my body doesn't go hypoglycemic. How would I know before I am in a coma?!
Oh, and unlike the Dexcom G7 which is what i used before this, you cannot calibrate it.
My suggestion, stay away from Stelo, use G7 from Dexcom or try something else.

It is also very painful to remove. Customer "service" is half-way around the world and they don't really care.
I liked stelo cgm not after new app
I liked stelo cgm, it gave me some minor differences between the manual readings (finger prick) but as long as I knew how far off it was, I was ok with it. What really bothered me was their new app layout, hard to read, dark background, confusing and crammed. They are not listening tk their customers, they just keep pushing this horrible new version. I’m done with it. Once my supply runs out I will never buy from dexcom again, they don’t care about their customers.
Absolutely terrible customer service
Absolutely terrible customer service. After my sensor bled excessively and following the website's instruction to remove the sensor, they declined my request to replace it. And I was out the sensor and money. Terrible customer service. I would NOT recommend to anyone.
Dexcom does not honor their commitment…
Dexcom does not honor their commitment to customers to replace a sensor that fails within 15 days. Refused to replace when it fell off after 10 days. Terrible customer experience.
Works 20% of the time at best
I ordered a batch of 6 for a 3 month run, after a friend gave me 2. Out of 8 sensors, only 2 made it into the grace period. Most ended 3 days early. The last one started showing readings in the low 50’s for hours, which would have meant I was in a coma, even after eating. Then it began long periods of disconnecting for 2 days. With 6 days left it disconnected and the session ended. After filling out the claim, they did not reply. So today I spent over an hour with 3 agents to be told they will not replace this sensor. It is obvious that this in unreliable and priced at a premium. The price point should be around $15 if they think this is acceptable. In summary:
-Stelo is not ready for prime time
-Buyer BEWARE
3 of 4 units failed after a few days of wear
I bought a pair of Stella CGMs after being diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. The first stopped working after a couple of days, which Stella replaced. The replacement gave absurdly low readings, validated against numerous finger sticks, and they replaced that one, and after a handful of days of reporting reasonable results, this one has been reporting <70 mg/dL for an entire day, while the finger sticks show that I’m in the 100 range. I opened another complaint about this most recent one. and according to their website, they have refused to provide a replacement. (the fourth unit I inadvertently raked off with a towel while drying after the shower, so that one’s my fault.)
So three out of four failing units is pretty bad for a system that is advertised as being a medical device.
It is trash
It is trash, it reads 30-34 points higher, and when you call for tech help. I was told, this is not the department, dial this number. Dialed, the number they said they can’t help. Told me, go to website chat 🤖 and it will connect me with live person. Open chat 3 times, 3 times chat 🤖 told me no one was available, how? It’s open 24/7. They got me, their customer service sucks and they got my money, so please save yours.
Dexcom needs a complete overhaul of its…
Dexcom needs a complete overhaul of its customer service. It is extremely difficult to reach a live representative, and my experience with a billing issue was very disappointing.
I selected a three-month subscription, and the total shown at checkout reflected that selection. However, after I submitted payment, my card was charged for both a one-month subscription and a three-month subscription. I was unable to reach a live representative to dispute the additional charge for approximately 12 hours.
When I finally reached someone, I was told that the order was already being processed and could not be refunded, even though it had not yet shipped. I was also given no option to speak with a supervisor.
Mistakes can happen, but customer service is measured by how a company responds when they do. The lack of meaningful service recovery left me feeling that customer satisfaction simply was not a priority. I am only one consumer but I do have options. I will find a another product. Dexcom there is someone greater than you and you will fail.
So annoyed by the ai “upgrade”
So annoyed by the ai “upgrade”. No longer records the meal and sets the two hour post meal timer.
I can’t get the meal event to log when I manually record it and select save.
There is not option to revert to the prior experience.
Not an improvement. I will be looking for an alternative product.
They say the devices will last 14 to 15…
They say the devices will last 14 to 15 days. Ive been continuously wearing the Stelo Device for about a year. The first couple of months, they performed as advertised. Since then about 3 out of every four last around 10 days. When I complained, they always sent me a replacement unit but Im tired of them routinely only last around 10 days. They aren't cheap and until they work out these bugs, Im looking for something more reliable.
One sensor failed with no satisfactory customer help
One sensor failed, and the promised replacement still hasn’t arrived
I received a Stelo package containing two sensors in early September, around September 1–2. I applied the first sensor to my arm according to the instructions, but it would not pair with the app. The second sensor paired successfully and worked.
I reported the faulty sensor through Stelo’s online support chat and provided all the requested information, including the sensor identification number. I was told that a replacement would be sent. About a month later, I still have not received it.
When Stelo sent me a feedback request, I explained my poor experience and the unresolved replacement claim. Instead of resolving the existing claim, they sent me another complaint form asking for the sensor number again.
Since I believed my original claim had been processed and the replacement was being arranged, I no longer have the faulty sensor or its number. I now cannot complete the new form, even though I already provided that information when I first reported the problem.
This has been extremely frustrating. Stelo should review the information already submitted, follow through on the promised replacement, and stop asking customers to restart an unresolved claim. One sensor worked, but the handling of the defective sensor has left me very disappointed.
Stelo's AI "customer service" is abysmal!
Stelo's AI "customer service" is abysmal. It invites you to connect with a Live Agent. If you say yes, it tells you Live Agents are unavailable even though you are trying to contact them in the window of time they are supposedly available, so it disconnects the chat. If you say no, it disconnects the chat. There does not seem to be any other option for obtaining help. I like the actual data provided by the technology, but because they don't seem interested in improving this aspect of their process, I am probably going to cancel my subscription.
Three stars because…
I'm giving them three stars because when I first started using them over a year ago the customer service was fantastic. When I had a bad sensor, they replaced it without too much hassle. I recently had a sensor, that after 2 days stopped working, and customer support would not replace it. I'm very experienced at using these and some are lemons, but knowing that I would receive a replacement for those occasional bad sensors was reassuring. Now, I can't justify spending money on something that has no guarantee to work.
Very disappointed in this device
Very disappointed in this device. 3 out of 4 of these fell off in under 48 hours. I followed the directions exactly: put on a clean, dry area, and did not sweat within the next 12 hours. I purchased adhesive strips to use this last time to make the area more sticky. I am lean and very active, and the times they came off I was either lap swimming or running. I would think for this price that they would stay on while exercising! Will absolutely not recommend.
Not ready for 15 days
Terrible product. Not tested and ready for prime use for 15 days. I never completed 15 days.
They need to fix the Bluetooth connection with the sensor. It loses the connection so often that the readings are irrelevant for a glucose monitor.
Customer service is terrible and argues that maybe I didn't read the Stelo guide. Already cancelled the subscription.

Been using for about a year I last three of all had problems. Some lasted for three days some less for three hours. Customer service is useless. They tell you they will open a case and you never hear from them again make sure you save your old applicators because they’ll want all the numbers off if you have a problem, which I’m sure most people don’t do cancel my subscription.

Sensors fell off after 3 days & another after 5 days. Inconsistent readings varied between 2 sensors. Poor quality & adhesion problems. Customer support was terrible. Only bots & email response telling customer there are no refunds, even for unused sensors in sealed boxes. Do Not buy these sensors. Terrible product.
The worse service ever experienced!
The tool can provide valuable information for controlling blood sugar levels, but that's where it ends. There customer service is about the worst I've encountered. Chat with a robot, then chat with a live person, spend an hour chatting back and forth then get the brush off. I've been using Stelo for well over a year and have had 3 different claims due to issues. They always have an excuse why they won't replace a sensor. They act like $50 for a sensor is no big deal, that's $150 for me in the last year. Haven't talked to an actual person ever!! Tempted to go back to Lingo CGM, they have people answering the phone and readily replace sensors with an issue.
An inferior product
An inferior product. Claims to last 15 days - I’ve never gotten more than 12. What’s worse is that after 8 days or so the readings go completely inaccurate. As much as 50-60 points lower than a finger stick. I’ve given this device nearly six months, but no more. Save your money. Don’t use Stelo.
