We launched a web store for our RPG's expansion content about 3 months ago and the set-up was honestly smooth than I expected. The store builder is simple but you can get it looking a decent with a bit of tweaking.
Checkout is clean, player haven't complained and payout land every month without us having to follow up on anything. What surprised me most is how little maintenance it needs. We set it up, tested it, went live, and basically haven't touched it since. For a small team that's exactly what you want.

update after 1 year:
fungies suspended us 1 year ago and today they are still holding our funds and wont release them
we contacted stripe express and they cant do anything

Maja from Fungies keeps cold-emailing me every 2-3 days, with no way for me to unsubscribe. I even asked her multiple times to stop spamming me.

Fungies has been running our subscription billing for about 3 months now and its been smooth. We sell a B2B analytics tool and needed something that handles EU VAT without us having to think about it. Done. The checkout embed looks native to our app which was important for us. Only gripe is I wish the dashboard had a bit more filtering on the revenue reports but honestly its not a dealbreakers.

ok so i sell notion dashboards and canva templates and fungies is genuinely the easiest platform ive tried. set up my store in like 20 mins, connected stripe, done. no monthly fees which is huge when you're just starting out. my customers haven't had any issues checking out which is all i really care about tbh

We switched to Fungies.io billing about 4 months ago. The main reason was we were sick of dealing with EU VAT rules manually, it was taking up too much of our accountants' time. They are the merchant of record so they take care of everything. The api was quite straight forward to integrate with our node backend. The only issue we had was a webhook not firing early on, but support fixed it same day. Overall its a huge relief not having to worry about global tax complience anymore.

Terrible experience. Support was unresponsive, communication was poor, and the platform did not meet expectations. Would not use again.

Been using fungies for our b2b saas subscriptions. The best part is honestly the checkout customization. We managed to embed it so it looks exactly like our own app, no weird redirects that sketch users out. Pricing is fair since there's no fixe monthly cost. Managing upgrades and downgrades is handled automatically which saved me writing a bunch of spaghetti code. Definitely recommend if you want to get a payment flow up fast without sacrificing the UX.

Honestly just started using fungies last week for my notion templates and its been super easy. Did not have to deal with any code which is a blessing lol. The checkout works fine and I like that I dont pay monthly fees. Solid so far..

I had a very frustrating experience with this company.

At first, their support replied and asked me to complete KYC verification (ID and utility bill). I followed their instructions and was ready to proceed. However, after that, they completely stopped responding.

I sent multiple follow-up emails (more than 10) asking for help and clarification, but I never received any reply.

This lack of communication is very unprofessional, especially when sensitive documents like ID verification are involved.

Because of this, I cannot trust this company anymore. I strongly advise others to be careful before using their services.

Please avoid fungies.io, they will hold your funds !!! No clarification from their support! And they ask KYC again and again! With taken a photo with different image!!!!!!!!!! (most of the 5 star review is fake multiple bot account)

They are spamers, they will take your money

Scammers, they ban you for no reason and then do not issue payouts, they stole over $4000 from ME and let alone my costumers. Support doesn't reply at all and they ghost you. Avoid this site st all costs.
