The customer service is fast and swift great job

I have been a loyal customer of Fanytel for a long time. I previously purchased US virtual numbers multiple times with absolutely no issues—SMS verification worked perfectly, and I could log into various apps easily. However, my experience this year has been a complete nightmare.After my 1-year US subscription ended, I decided to purchase a UK virtual number ($16) because it had fewer restrictions. Right after the purchase, I tried to register it on Telegram and WhatsApp. To my shock, both apps repeatedly stated that the login code had been sent to "another active device." This meant Fanytel sold me a recycled number that was already actively being used by someone else!Furthermore, the number was completely defective; even when I requested the code via SMS, not a single text message arrived in the Fanytel app. I even tried using it on other platforms like OpenAI (ChatGPT). While no one had registered an account there with this number, the Fanytel app still failed to receive any verification SMS.I immediately reached out to their support (which is only available via WhatsApp), but after 4 days, they didn't even read my messages. Since my previous US number was about to expire and I urgently needed a working replacement, I thought canceling the broken UK number might allow me to get a new one.However, after canceling it, I realized they do not refund your money at all—not even as an in-app credit balance! I bought a completely broken, recycled number, received zero support, and they just pocketed my $16. I messaged them about this unfair policy, and my messages are still being completely ignored.Avoid Fanytel if you need a reliable UK number or any customer support. They will sell you a dead line and steal your money!

The basic function of receiving texts and calls does not work, which negates the entire reason for spending money on this app.

I have no idea how this app could have received 5 stars from any consumer. I tried making 5 calls; 1 call went through and the other 4 just failed sliently with no warning. Then I received a captive modal in the Fanytel website applicaiton that said "application not registered" despite having purchases ample credits just today. It feels like experimental tech from a company on its way to providing VOIP text and voice services that has not arrived yet. I appreciate the effort, but they should not be charging full retail price for a service that simply does not work as intended at all.

I have been using Fanytel for more than a year, but today I had an extremely concerning experience.

A US number has been assigned to my account for over a year, and I have already paid for it nearly a year in advance. Today, I suddenly discovered that someone else had apparently activated a Telegram account using this number.

This is extremely disturbing. The number is supposed to be assigned to me, so I should be the person receiving SMS verification codes sent to it. Yet somehow, another person appears to have received or otherwise obtained access to the verification needed to activate Telegram with my number.

Telegram is simply the case I discovered. I have no way of knowing whether the number has also been used to register or access accounts on other services.

This raises very serious questions about how Fanytel manages numbers that customers are actively paying for. If a number assigned to a paying customer can somehow be accessed, reassigned, or used by someone else, then relying on that number for account verification becomes a major security risk.

After this experience, I have completely lost confidence in the service. I am now concerned about every account connected to my Fanytel numbers and whether those accounts could potentially be compromised without my knowledge.

I expect Fanytel to investigate this incident seriously and explain exactly how another person was apparently able to activate Telegram using a number that has been continuously assigned and paid for under my account.

Scam and deceptive service! They sold me a compromised, recycled virtual number (+1 581-708-5999) that is already blacklisted and tied to an active TikTok account by someone else. They refused to provide a premium replacement ending in 9999 or handle the breach correctly, choosing to just push a refund. Total consumer fraud. Do not use Fanytel!

It is hard to find a real person in customer help these days. This is one great customer service experience on my part.
