After experiencing problems with the extension refusing to use any coupons, I reached out to their customer support for assistance. I got an automatic response right away, but after that, there was no further contact from them with an actual solution to my problem. Days went by and there was still no contact. I had hoped for much more from a company that markets itself as an AI shopping assistant.

However, everything turned out to be contrary to what I expected. The application was showing me unreal discounts, which were not available on the website of the retailer. In the end, I had to buy the product without any discount after a lot of comparison.

Thanks for the honest feedback, and we're sorry the experience didn't match what was promised — that gap is exactly what we don't want. A bit of context that may explain part of it, though it doesn't excuse the frustration: some offers shown are store-wide or category promotions rather than codes, and some are regional or account-specific (first-order discounts, minimum-spend deals), so a discount that's real for one shopper or region may not apply to another cart. That said, if what you saw was simply a discount that didn't exist at the retailer at all, we want to trace it — could you email support@couponly.ai with the store name and roughly when this happened? We can check what was displayed and why, and correct the listing if it's wrong. We'd rather show fewer offers that always hold up than more that sometimes don't.

Expired codes are exactly the problem Couponly is built around — codes on our site come from a pool that's continuously updated based on real redemption results, and the browser extension goes a step further by testing codes against your live cart at checkout and applying only what works. We couldn't match this review to any user account or support request, and we've asked Trustpilot to verify it through their standard process. If you did hit a store where codes failed, we'd genuinely like the details — support@couponly.ai — those reports are how the pool gets better.
