I find Aetna’s presentation of this plan’s costs deceptive. The benefits summary prominently lists $30 primary care and $60 specialist copays, but those prices only apply after meeting a deductible of more than $3,000. That qualification fundamentally changes what you actually pay and should be shown directly alongside the advertised visit costs.

I received an EOB assigning $475.53 to my deductible for three in-network visits, despite already making payments at those appointments. Those payments still need to be reconciled with the providers’ bills.

Members should not have to untangle fine print and conflicting documents to understand basic coverage. Show the actual cost structure clearly: full negotiated prices before the deductible, then $30/$60 office visit copays afterward.
