Ich finde es gut, dass man bei verschiedenen Unternehmen Anschlüsse buchen kann. Die Umsteigezeiten sind gut geplant. Die Rückreise von Leeds nach London war sehr teuer (160£ pro Person) und flexibel (ca. 30£ pro Person) obwohl wir einen fixen Anschlusszug hatten.
Vielleicht war der Buchungsprozess zu kompliziert?

Passholder Tickets teils nicht verfügbar
Ich habe meinen Interrail pass dort gekauft (ca, 15€ mehr als bei Interrail direkt), um Eurostar- und TGV-Passholder-tickets ohne Aufpreis zu kaufen. Ergebnis: TGV-Tickets waren bei Rail Europe nicht buchbar, ich musste sie bei interrail buchen. Die Eurostar-Tickets waren genau so teuer wie bei allaboard. Das hat sich nicht gelohnt. Es war auch etwas umständlich mit den Eurostar-Tickets, man muss die Daten alle mehrfach eingeben obwohl sie im Account gespeichert sind.

Rail Europe offers passholder seat reservations for many operators. However, the availability of these reservations depends entirely on the functionality and inventory made available to us by the individual rail carriers. Unfortunately, some rail carriers do not make all passholder reservation options available through our platform, which is why certain TGV passholder reservations may need to be booked through an alternative channel.
Regarding the pricing of Eurostar passholder reservations, the fares displayed on our website are provided directly by the operating rail carrier. Rail Europe does not set or adjust these prices.
With respect to re-entering passenger details for your Eurostar booking, this is required for the submission of Advance Passenger Information (API). Eurostar requires this information before tickets can be issued, as it is a mandatory requirement established by the UK government for all passengers entering or leaving the United Kingdom.
We hope this helps clarify the situation.

Ich habe unabsichtlich Eurorail statt Interrail ausgewählt und habe, obwohl ich gleich geschrieben habe, ob ich es stornieren oder ändern kann, nur 17,50 Euro von 27 Euro zurückbekommen. Normalerweise bekommt man, wenn man gleich schreibt, das ganze Geld zurück. Außerdem ist nicht klar ersichtlich, dass die Buchungsgebühr nicht pro Ticket, sondern pro Bestellung verrechnet wird, wodurch ich unnötiges Geld verschwendet habe.

After reviewing your booking, we found that your refund was processed in accordance with the fare conditions established by the operating rail carrier. As a ticket distributor, Rail Europe is required to apply these conditions and is unfortunately unable to make exceptions, even when a cancellation request is submitted shortly after booking.
We would also like to clarify that, for passholder bookings, Rail Europe does not charge a booking fee. Instead, a seat reservation fee is charged per passenger, per journey, as these reservations are separate from the rail pass itself. This information is displayed during the booking process before payment is completed.
