Easy to use most of the time does get a bit awkward uploading ID etc

1st time with Motorway selling a car, uploading pictures very easy and if you make a mistake it tells you. Was initially suspicious but Motorway allayed all fears and sold my car within 2 days, Motorway communication excellent and kept me informed all the way. Buyer was also excellent and picked my car up within 2 hours, and cash in bank straight away, brilliant.

Listed a vehicle which was initially given a good valuation but simply dropped £500 as waited a few days to list. Then the sale price was even lower. Due to a recent bereavement I just wanted to sort the sale and they offered their Empathy service to assist with matters and reassured me that their bereavement specialist team would sort the matter.

The vehicle was listed and sold to a lower price but accepted. The documents were all uploaded and approved. They advised someone would be in contact to collect.

Then out of the blue the sale was cancelled. Something about a NMR discrepancy with the mileage.

Reached out to Motorway who said speak to HPI. HPI said speak to Motorway: this was their issue and they know it’s their issue but always pass customers back to HPI.

They eventually said it was a because of an issue with the mileage entered on the MOTs

There is no issue. The readings have been entered as a mix of miles and kilometres and there is no requirement for any specific unit to be used over another. Reviewing all the entries they just follow an increasing reading over the cars use of the years.

The car has now been sold back to the original dealer it was purchased from. They showed care and compassion and empathy and reviewing the HPI check that they carried out there was absolutely no markers for mileage / in fact this was marked as green.

Just avoid Motorway - they don’t care.

Kept in touch throughout the whole process of selling my car. I had never used Motorway before but would certainly consider using them again and would recommend them to others.

I recently sold my car through Motorway. This is the first time I’ve sold a car like this I normally part exchange. I am dissatisfied with the sale for the following reasons. The dealer did not scan the QR code to start the transaction with Motorway. He simply walked round the vehicle and started the engine and then said Motorway purposely inflate their prices and started to negotiate the price he was going on about his profit margin and asking me to help him out. I wanted to close the deal so foolishly I accepted a lower price. Both these actions are totally against motorways protocol. This is a completely honest review of the transaction that took place and I would advise any sellers to be cautious and not fall victim to this.

I put my car up for sale on the Monday and it was sold at a price I was happy with. It was checked over and taken away Weds morning. Very very impressed with this company

Very professional process from start to finish. No issues at all with Motorway. There was some confusion from the dealer on how to deal with the QR code on pickup. Perhaps a little more education on this process might be worthwhile.

Must admit was dubious as first time using this type of service, but it was so simple. The app makes it easy as it directs all the photos and ensures every step is completed. Profile checked, car sold in 24hrs and then collected on the first day I was available. Motorway agent used to collect and check extremely friendly and communication was brilliant. Brilliant price gained, quick payment and stress free!!

Motorway sold my car but the buyer never got in touch for a collection, I ended up selling my car in the next auction for hundreds of pounds less, seems a bit suspicious to me.....

Sorry but being a senior citizen l found the taking of photos of the car and documents little difficult . Once done everything else was easy.

The process from sale to pick up was seamless. There is always an element of haggling from the garage, but from all the platforms we have used Motorway is the way to go!!

Used twice now, both times quick and easy no hassle. No tyre kickers like we buy any car and similar companies. Got more than you get on trade in, the guide price quoted before I sold.the car was exactly what I got.

The whole process was very easy and managed well.

The price that Motorway said I would receive was too optimistic compared to other potential sellers. This could be done to draw you in. I had to reduce the price twice to get a sale. Other than that, a smooth and seamless transaction.

Great communication and very helpful staff

The experience was hampered by being unable to download the app. However the whole timeframe from first contact to money in the bank was 6 days. Absolutely fantastic.
