Payout Stuck and Support Is Nowhere to Be Found
Terrible experience with Dodo Payments. They verified and accepted my bank account, but after I processed payments and initiated my first payout, suddenly they claimed my routing number was missing — even though their bank setup never gave me a field to enter one.
My payout is now stuck. I contacted them by email with screenshots and full details — no reply. I contacted live support, which says they typically respond within a few hours — still no reply after hours and repeated messages.
I trusted their verification, integrated their payment system into my website, processed real money through them, and now I am left completely in the dark when trying to withdraw it.
This has cost me time, money, and trust. Based on my experience, I strongly recommend staying away from Dodo Payments.

Dodo Payments retained my entire balance after a 120-day hold without providing an itemized explanation
My experience with Dodo Payments has been extremely concerning. They approved my account and processed customer payments, but later closed the account and held my remaining balance for 120 days.
I was originally told that the hold was intended to cover possible refunds, chargebacks, disputes and other customer obligations. After the 120-day period ended, Dodo Payments informed me that they would retain the entire balance permanently and that no payout would be made
Their final email referred only to an unspecified “violation under our policies.” They did not identify the specific transaction or activity in question, the precise contractual clause allegedly violated, or provide an itemized calculation showing any refunds, chargebacks, fines or other losses covered by my balance. They also stated that the decision was final and would not be reconsidered
My main concern is the lack of transparency. Closing an account is one issue; permanently retaining a merchant’s full balance after the announced risk period has ended, without providing a specific explanation or accounting of the liabilities, is much more serious.
Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Dodo Payments to businesses that depend on predictable payouts. Before using this platform, merchants should carefully examine its reserve, termination and set-off provisions and understand that account approval does not necessarily guarantee that collected funds will ultimately be paid out.
I remain willing to update this review if Dodo Payments provides the applicable policy clause, the factual reason for its decision, and a complete accounting of how my balance was used.

Complete scam company. Suddenly blocked our account and hold our money for 120 days and after 120 days when we contacted them they told us that that money is long gone and you cant have it. Dodo payment is a scam.

We would like to clarify that Dodo Payments does not support merchants from Pakistan. This is an explicit eligibility requirement and is clearly documented on our website. Our supported-country policy applies to all merchants and is based on our regulatory, compliance, and operational requirements.
We understand that this may be disappointing. However, in this case, the account was not approved due to our published eligibility requirements and not as an arbitrary decision. We encourage merchants to review our supported-country information and eligibility requirements before creating an account.

Extremely underrated tool
My team had issues integrating payment into a tool we wanted launch. Most providers rejected us because of where we're based. However, that was no issue with Dodo Payments. Both verification and integration with our software have been seamless so far. First payout came in two weeks exactly as expected, and they've responded to everything we wanted to know more about. The tool is frankly underrated and, based on my experience, I would absolutely recommend it to anyone

We take these concerns seriously and would like to clarify the facts.
We terminated your account in January after identifying clear violations of our Merchant Acceptance Policy. During our review, we found that your business was actively selling IPTV subscriptions offering access to more than 50,000 live TV channels and on-demand content. We also determined that you were using an additional website to sell IPTV services that you did not disclose during onboarding. IPTV services of this nature fall under our prohibited business categories and are not eligible for processing on our platform.
Our compliance review identified these policy violations after onboarding. As a regulated Merchant of Record, we must enforce our policies consistently and cannot make exceptions where merchants engage in prohibited activities or fail to disclose relevant business information.
We do not make decisions arbitrarily or unfairly. We made our decision only after a thorough compliance review and in accordance with our published policies, which we apply consistently to all merchants.
