What stood out most to me was the…
What stood out most to me was the technical support. I had an issue with my VPS configuration and the person who responded actually understood what was happening instead of sending me a generic troubleshooting article. They checked the server setup, explained the cause, and helped me get everything working quickly. That kind of engineering-level support is hard to find.
Absolute nightmare. Unusable network speeds, atrocious routing, and zero real support.
I rarely bother writing reviews, but after dealing with Alexhost, I feel an obligation to warn anyone considering them. Do not fall for the "cheap offshore hosting" marketing. It is genuinely not worth the headache.
From day one, the network routing was an absolute disaster. Even simple ping responses to Southern and Central Europe were hovering around ridiculous numbers with constant, random packet loss. Trying to run a lightweight web app and API on their VPS was impossible connections would randomly stall, SSL handshakes would hang, and download speeds would throttle down to dial-up levels for no apparent reason.
Whenever you open a ticket, support takes hours (sometimes days) just to send a copy-paste response claiming "everything is fine on our node, must be your ISP or Cloudflare." They take zero accountability for their congested network and overloaded hardware.
The most ridiculous part? I literally migrated the exact same codebase, the exact same Nginx configuration, and the exact same database to a proper modern host in Frankfurt. Instantly, ping dropped to a flat 40ms, pages load in milliseconds, and zero packet loss. That proved beyond any doubt that the bottleneck was Alexhost's decaying infrastructure all along.
Save your money, save your time, and go with an actual professional provider. Alexhost feels like it's being run on surplus hardware in a basement with a single DSL line. Never touching them again.

Completely unstable VPS: constant connection drops, unhelpful support, severe overselling suspected
I rented a VPS expecting standard stability, but the service has proven to be practically unusable. The server runs for half a day (sometimes barely an hour), and then connectivity completely collapses. SSH stops responding, connections drop with timeouts, and all traffic freezes.
I have reinstalled the operating system multiple times from scratch, but the issue returns immediately. I contacted support multiple times regarding this. While they attempted minor interventions, none of the underlying issues were actually fixed, and the server continues to go dark on a daily basis.
Given the symptoms — sudden freezes, persistent SSH timeouts, and temporary recoveries followed by immediate drops — this strongly points to severe node overselling, congested host interfaces, or poorly routed, degraded IP subnets on AlexHost's side. The node simply cannot handle the load, making it impossible to maintain even a basic stable connection.
If you need a reliable VPS that works out of the box without endless firefighting and constant downtime, stay away from this service.
The hosting company is completely…
The hosting company is completely unresponsive to complaints. The website they host publishes fake information about people and extorts money for removal. Not only is the website fraudulent, but it seems as if alexhost was created specifically for such fraudulent resources, and the number of angry reviews only confirms this. CloudFlare Report ID: 40a26a725d7aeacb
I also sent several requests to AlexHost's email address but received no response; a ticket wasn't even created.
Over a month without resolving a copyright complaint
My experience with AlexHost began on July 17, 2026, when I reported unauthorized public distribution of my paid software hosted on their server.
Since then, I have contacted AlexHost through its abuse channel, support ticket system, and legal department. Instead of resolving the complaint, I have repeatedly been redirected, asked for extensive personal information, or left without a response.
AlexHost publicly advertises a 72-hour SLA for Intellectual Property / DMCA reports. However, it is now August 21, more than a month after my original report, and the infringing content remains accessible.
On August 9, I specifically asked whether my legal name and residential address would be disclosed to the reported customer and whether those details could be redacted due to the risk of doxxing. I have received no answer.
More than a month has passed without a takedown, a clear confidentiality answer, or any meaningful resolution.
I strongly advise against doing any business with this company.
Be very careful with AlexHost
My server was suspended after a single abuse report, without prior warning and without providing me with clear evidence. I was also unable to access my server and retrieve my data.
I had already removed the reported content and explained that the reported link was only a shortened link and that the data was not hosted on my server, but my concerns were not properly addressed.
What is most disappointing is that there was no proper verification before suspending the entire server, and no refund was offered.
Based on my experience, I strongly recommend keeping your own backups and thinking carefully before trusting AlexHost with important data. I regret choosing this provider.
It is not a hosting provider
It is not a hosting provider, it is a crowd of thieves. They will steal your money and you will get nothing in return. Beware!
Doesn't care about DMCA
Doesn't care about DMCA. Hosts a lot of websites that offer cracked software. Supports criminals. Harming app developers.
Suspended Within an Hour, Refund Refused Even After Netcraft Corrected the Report
I had a very disappointing experience with AlexHost.
Before purchasing my VPS, I specifically asked their sales team whether their servers were DMCA ignored. They confirmed that they were, so I decided to purchase the service.
However, within about an hour of activation, my VPS was suspended because of a single Netcraft abuse report.
I immediately contacted Netcraft and reported that the incident was incorrect. After investigating, Netcraft:
Confirmed the URL was non-malicious.
Asked recipients to ignore the previous removal request.
Officially rebuilt the incident report and removed my server IP from it.
I provided all of this evidence to AlexHost.
Despite that, AlexHost still refused to refund my payment. They continued to send the same template responses and kept referring to their Acceptable Use Policy, even after the Netcraft report had been corrected and my IP had been removed from the incident.
What disappointed me most was not the suspension itself—mistakes can happen. It was the way the situation was handled afterwards. Even after the third-party organization corrected the report, AlexHost refused to reconsider their decision or provide a refund.
Based on my personal experience, if you're looking for a hosting provider that carefully reviews abuse reports and treats customers fairly when mistakes are corrected, my experience with AlexHost was not positive. I hope they improve their customer support and dispute resolution process in the future.

Alexhost provides poor services and ignores legal notices
AlexHost has failed to take appropriate action against a fraudulent website hosted on its network. Original company reported a website that was using their trademark and copying content from their official website to impersonate their brand and mislead customers, unfortunately I am one of those customers. When I entered qx-platform by mistake, I then was redirected to a third-party website where I invested money and was scammed.
I contacted original company and they resounded that they submitted a detailed abuse report several weeks ago, including evidence of trademark infringement and fraudulent activity. But no actions taken and the website remains online.
Based on my experience, I believe AlexHost has not handled this abuse report responsibly. In our view, a reputable hosting provider would investigate such reports promptly and suspend clearly fraudulent websites within a much shorter timeframe. Their online responses are violant. They prefer to act rude and pretend that nothing happened, instead of taking measures. They host sites that scam people and they are OK with that.

Chaotic handling of the outage, poor communication and no clear compensation
My experience with AlexHost during the Netherlands infrastructure outage was very disappointing.
I had two VPS servers in the Netherlands. When the outage occurred, I asked AlexHost to migrate both VPS servers to Moldova together with all data, configurations and services. Support then informed me that they could only provide new, completely empty VPS servers in Moldova, with new IP addresses and without access to my existing data, backups or snapshots.
This meant that the temporary solution did not actually restore my services. I had to configure everything again myself, while my original data remained inaccessible.
Communication with support was also poor. My questions were frequently answered only partially or ignored. I repeatedly asked:
* whether my data in the Netherlands was safe,
* when access would be restored,
* what refund or compensation I would receive,
* whether my subscription would be extended for the downtime.
Instead of receiving clear answers, I was repeatedly told that they were checking the issue, working on it or that I should wait. One support agent answered only one part of a message containing several important questions.
Eventually, AlexHost created two replacement VPS servers in Moldova, but both were empty. I specifically requested that my subscription be extended by the number of days during which the services were unavailable, but I did not receive a clear confirmation that this compensation had been applied.
AlexHost later publicly claimed that seriously affected Netherlands customers received four additional weeks for free and that customers could request compensation. However, nothing was automatically communicated or clearly added to my account. Despite being directly affected and having two VPS servers, I did not receive any clear information about the promised four-week extension.
The situation became even more frustrating when AlexHost announced that the temporary Moldova servers would be terminated sometime between June 29 and July 5. They did not initially provide a specific date or time. This effectively required customers to remain ready for termination during an entire week.
Support also stated that the Moldova and Netherlands servers could not operate simultaneously, so the data had to be downloaded to a local computer and then uploaded again to the Netherlands server. They did not offer a short overlap period that would allow customers to copy data directly, test the restored services and switch with minimal downtime.
I understand that the original incident may have involved a third-party data centre and may not have been entirely under AlexHost’s control. However, communication, customer support, migration planning and compensation were AlexHost’s responsibility.
The main problems were:
* no access to data or backups during the outage,
* replacement servers provided without data,
* incomplete and vague support responses,
* no clear ETA,
* no clear confirmation of compensation,
* no coordinated migration back to the Netherlands,
* a very broad server termination window,
* the migration risk being transferred almost entirely to the customer.
AlexHost may have worked to restore its infrastructure, but from a customer perspective the entire process was chaotic, stressful and poorly managed.

A 14-day total blackout in NL. Got my data and refund back, but support transparency is abysmal
I want to leave a honest review of my B2B experience with AlexHost (specifically their Netherlands location, VPS 132.243.166.183).
The Good:
The data survived. After a catastrophic 14-day total blackout, the server came back online exactly as it was. Our databases, configs, and file archives were 100% intact.
They honored the refund. When I formally declined their "30-day service extension" offer and demanded a refund for the ruined June billing cycle, they transferred the $18.00 back to my credit card without forcing me to initiate a bank chargeback.
The Bad (The Outage & Incident Handling):
On June 2nd, 2026, the entire Netherlands node went completely dead. Not just our VPS, but the AlexHost client billing panel for NL as well. The downtime lasted 14 continuous days (until June 15th).
While upstream Tier-1/datacenter incidents happen to any provider, AlexHost’s crisis management proved they are not ready for serious business clients:
Zero proactive transparency: There was no public incident URL, no status page, and no broadcast emails. You had to manually ping your ticket every 48 hours just to get a copy-pasted "We are working on it, no ETA" template.
Contradictory Tier-1 support: In the middle of the outage, staff member A wrote to me: "Your data is safe, fully intact and secure". Literally the next morning, staff member B replied: "We currently have no access to the data in the Netherlands, access is restricted". For a client running live databases, this level of internal contradiction causes immense, unnecessary panic.
However, do not host single-node production databases or critical B2B apps here. If an upstream provider cuts their uplink or the rack gets locked, their Tier-1 support will put you in a dark room with automated templates for two weeks while your business burns. Credit to them for not acting like scammers at the very end, but the stress wasn't worth the savings.

94% Uptime Is Not Acceptable for a €70 VPS
I want to share my experience with AlexHost.
I purchased an AMD VPS for €70 per month, which is not a low price for this type of service. Unfortunately, during the last 3 days, I experienced 4 separate incidents, resulting in approximately 4 hours of total downtime.
Each time I contacted support, I was told that this was the first time such an issue had occurred. However, similar outages have been happening repeatedly, with the server going down several times per day.
I am not satisfied with the quality of service provided for the price being charged. My WordPress store has had only 94% uptime over the last 3 days, which is extremely poor for a production website.
Based on my experience, I cannot recommend AlexHost.

Terrible experience - Service didn't work and ZERO support
"I purchased a VPS service today, hoping for a professional experience, but it turned out to be a complete disaster.
The service has been non-functional since the very first moment. I tried to reinstall the OS, and the process took over an hour without any progress. The service is effectively unusable. To make matters worse, I reached out to their support team, but I received absolutely no response. It’s unacceptable to pay for a service that doesn't work, and to be ignored by support on the very first day.
I am officially requesting a full refund to my original payment method. As a customer, I have the right to share my honest experience to warn others.
If you are looking for a reliable hosting provider, stay away from AlexHost. They take your money and vanish. I demand an immediate refund for this non-existent service ...
Update:
To AlexHost ,
Thanks for your reply,
I got refunded via Paypal ,
i will not continue in alexHost ,
And i will not repeat that experience again,
please close my account.
Thanks

I'm satisfied. The speed is fine, performance is fine for its money and no KYC registration. The support helped me with the big steal time. No problems at all.
Unfair Suspension and Zero Manual Support
I am extremely disappointed with AlexHost's customer service and abuse handling policies. They suspended my server and took my website offline immediately without any warning, grace period, or manual investigation.
My website is a legitimate consumer complaint and review platform. A brand filed a completely false "phishing" report simply to silence negative user reviews. Instead of doing a basic 10-second manual check or looking at the screenshot proofs I provided to show there was zero phishing involved, AlexHost blindly followed the automated third-party abuse report.
They refused to reactivate my server and told me I had to resolve the issue with the third party first, keeping my legitimate site down in the meantime. It is completely unfair and unprofessional to punish a paying customer and keep their business offline based on baseless, fake abuse reports without doing any internal verification.
If you are looking for a hosting provider that actually listens to its customers and reviews evidence before pulling the plug on your server, I highly recommend looking elsewhere. Their strict reliance on automated bots over human logic is unacceptable.
