Review of Wunderflats

Unreliable

I chose an apartment in Munich in the spring and made a down payment (1 month rent + administrative fees). Within a week, I regretted it. I never signed a contract with the landlord and contacted Wunderflats to cancel the reservation. Soon, there was a new tenant for the same period, and I was informed by Wunderflats that I would get the prepaid rent back. That was supposed to happen in the first month (August) of the original rental period. I had to follow up on it, and now Wunderflats is only refunding part of the rent. This goes against the agreement, and I can prove it with emails from the Wunderflats Account Manager. I have filed a complaint, but so far it’s been silent. Wunderflats is therefore unreliable and makes it really difficult to get money back.

Hi Gerrit,

Thank you for sharing your feedback, and we are truly sorry for the frustration and delay this situation has caused you.

We are currently reviewing your case internally and will be reaching out to you directly very soon. Unfortunately, we aren't always able to act as quickly as we would like, but getting this sorted out for you is a priority.

Because the prepaid rent had already been transferred to the landlord, issuing the full refund doesn't depend solely on us, as the landlord is responsible for returning those funds. This can sometimes cause delays while we coordinate the payout.

We are actively working on finalizing this for you and will email you directly as soon as possible.

Best regards,
Team Wunderflats
