Review of CanSpace Solutions

Absolute garbage.

Absolute garbage.

I moved my domain over to CanSpace in an effort to "buy Canadian" with all of the political BS south of the border and abandoned Namecheap as my registrar. One week after the transfer, my email stopped working. Did exhaustive research and everything is correctly configured with MX records through to DKIM, SPF and DMARC. And I am using Canspace's default DNS servers.

They said the problem was that the TXT file for verification was not there, and even though I got the original verification record for ownership out of the bowels of Google and added it to my DNS settings, I am still having the problem. And now they are trying to sell me a service to configure the DNS for me, when it's already configured? The knowledge base is completely useless - a grand total of 35 articles for people to attempt to support themselves.

I have done EXACTLY that they indicated from a support POV for troubleshooting, it hasn't worked and they have stopped responding to my ticket.

Thanks for encouraging me to go back to Namecheap. @$$hats.

I apologize for the issues you are having with your Google-based email Ashley. Generally speaking you would have to get in touch with Google to find out exactly what DNS entries you need to add, and then add them via our DNS Manager.

Our DNS Manager is available to all clients free of charge, and comes free with all domains. It's likely you simply have a small misconfiguration in your DNS records.
