I like the app but it could do with some fixes on the part where the address is verified. Also when verifying with a partner there should be a list of details they require.
Issues with my account, customer service sorted very quickly, highly recommended.

⭐ **Terrible and Extremely Frustrating Experience with Yoti**
I have had a terrible experience with Yoti on two separate occasions, and unfortunately, both experiences have caused significant problems for me and my family. I am still struggling because of these verification issues.
The first issue involved my wife’s **Right to Work check for Uber Eats**. My wife is a British national and has been working with Uber for a long time. When her Right to Work check was due, we uploaded a clear copy of her valid British passport through Yoti. Despite this, the result came back as **“Consider.”** Since then, we have been struggling to resolve the situation. We have contacted Uber, the union and other relevant parties, but the issue remains unresolved. It feels incredibly unfair when a British citizen with a valid British passport cannot get a straightforward verification result.
Unfortunately, I then experienced a similar problem myself.
I had been waiting for **Just Eat** to open opportunities in my area for several years. When an opportunity finally became available, I was required to complete a background check through Yoti. I uploaded my valid British driving licence, which I have held for around 20 years, but Yoti returned an error saying that it was **unable to complete the verification**.
The most frustrating part is that Yoti does not clearly explain **what is wrong with the document** or provide a proper opportunity to correct the issue and try again. We tried to complete the check again, but by then the verification link had timed out.
I have contacted Sterling, First Advantage and Just Eat customer services trying to resolve the issue, but unfortunately I have not been able to get anywhere.
What makes this even more disappointing is that I successfully completed a **Yoti background check just last month for another employer and received a clear certificate**. So it is extremely difficult to understand why I suddenly could not complete this verification.
Both my wife and I are British nationals, and we have valid identity documents and driving licences that we have held for many years. Yet we have both experienced serious problems with Yoti’s verification system.
I understand that identity and background checks are important, but when the system fails, there should be a clear explanation, a proper appeals process and an opportunity to correct genuine technical or verification issues.
This experience has been **extremely disappointing, stressful and frustrating**, particularly because these checks have directly affected our ability to work and earn an income.
I sincerely hope Yoti reviews how these situations are handled and provides better support for people who encounter verification failures.
This company is the definition of a joke, their service is a scam, nothing works except the passport service and its a disgrace, i shouldnt have to post them a picture of my passport in ANY circumstance because their other software doesnt work. Embarassing company. 10/10 would not recommend
What a useless system. I had to use it for a Government thing - I do not have a smartphone, too old, keypad unusable and screen too small. So used my PC - and bough a hi-res PC camera. YOTI was incapable of taking decent document images and did not allow a JPG uploads of hi-res stored images, but could image my face. It failed the docs but got my face. So borrowed a smartphone and someone to drive it -could not upload document files as they are on my PC - so had to use smartphone to image them again with a lousy smartphone camera, then it could not image me - I suspect it is incapable of managing older people with lots of lines and wrinkles. Finally crashed out of the smartphone link, restarted YOTI on my PC and took picture of me with decent camera. I await the outcome. They need to allow all documents to be uploaded from hi-res files on a PC, only the face needs to be a live image and it needs to be a decent camera not a smartphone
No thanks to them. Everytime I try to verify my age through yoti for my Xbox, I've tried age estimation, my ID and I can't use my debit card to verify because it's not a credit and I've already asked customer support on both yoti and Xbox about this and it still hasn't been resolved nor fixed so what's the point of a failing website if it continues to not work for Australians like me
I couldn’t get my ID check done after supplying all the photos and face scan which was frustrating. I contacted your customer support then it was sorted.
It is utterly worthless. I used it to verify my age, I went through their process on their app and was verified, but the site still has me locked out. I ask Yoti about it and basically they say it's not they problem.
You don't have access to "their back end", well you better do something because you are the verifier, and I've been left unverified, I'm blaming you as that's your only and entire function here.
Terrible company costing me 1/3 of my income.
I'm a long term gig worker for the major food delivery apps. Just Eat contracted First Advantage and YOTI to do right to work checks. Unfortunately YOTI only give one chance to do the ID check and if it fails for whatever reason, you get no further chances and the check returns as failed. This has costed me my Just Eat account, after talking to Just Eat the only thing I could do is delete my Just Eat account and create a whole new one and sign up all over again. So a few weeks on here I am again, failed the ID check with YOTI... again. All I need to do is upload my UK birth certificate to prove my right to work in the UK (Im a UK citizen since birth). YOTI are unresponsive, First Advantage say there is nothing they can do. So what do I do? Why companies work with YOTI on these checks I do not know, it must be costing them a fortune. First advantage are more than capable of doing these checks as they did before, bringing YOTI into the equation only brings more complexity and their app and online portal are not fit for purpose.
This digital identity app is in my mind a complete game changer once you have stored all your relevant personal information it is a platform for enhanced security for you and it’s evidential information about who you are and how old you are 10/10
Doesn't work, ridiculous UK government bringing in stupid laws then having useless companies like this pretend to make it work. The stabbing rates aren't going down because they've made it impossible for a housebound person to order a knife.

Can you complete my background check please

Not a fair system for older people who don't have passport or driving licence or other identification except birth certificate and council tax letters

Yoti, as a company, is one of the great ponzi schemes I've ever seen.
Make a verification system that doesn't actually verify anything, AND you get to profit off of it? It's a win-win! If you're a spineless nitwit who only cares about money
