I would suggest not investing in this…
I would suggest not investing in this option even if it may advertise as a better deal. It's better to pay the extra to have peace of mind that what you pay for you receive. I booked a suite with a balcony (rate listed higher than standard rooms)only to get to the hotel and have no balcony. And when I contacted customer service about the matter they tried to downgrade my room even more that the reservation they already emailed in. Lucky I am a hilton member and staff was able to accommodate. Other than them listing rates for rooms that don't match description only to pocket what money would be left over by not paying for the requested room. It was intentional and very much met with consequences of a potential downgrade after inquiring about the change in what was purchased ... Just be mindful

Buyer beware!! I’ve used Expedia for many years and never had any problems being refunded if plans changed well in advance. I’m taking my son to visit colleges in West Texas & Vio popped up in a Google search of lodgings. I booked rooms for two separate stays, one in San Angelo over a month from now. Our plans changed so I had to cancel just the San Angelo trip, not the trip in 2 weeks to Canyon Tx. I am being told the 2 night stay is non refundable, whaaat? I can’t afford to lose money & even the hotel policy allows customers a refund if cancelled early
