As much as the handyman tried their best, the work wasn't very professional and the quality of at least half the tasks turns out worse than expected. For example, a part was damaged during installation, and the caulking was left with a hole and uneven. They are responsive and good with very simple tasks though.

It's very easy to book a tasker with Taskrabbit. There are many taskers to choose from, and you can easily book the one that suits your needs. The rates and skill sets are clearly stated on each person's profile. I have had only positive experiences with taskers completing the tasks efficiently, knowledgeable, and reliable.

Everything went great from the time of booking to communication with a tasker and the work itself which was awesome all around.

I got charged twice for my deposit

It's a pretty good place to find people to perform literal tasks. It is easy to navigate and find what you need. However, the site does take a pretty significant chunk of what you pay them for using the service. This doesn't happen on classified sites. Also, you do end up paying up front an advance to hold the booking. Generally you will need to add a tip as 100% of that goes to the actual people doing the work.

I’ve used TaskRabbit several times for furniture assembly, moving, plumbing, and various handyman tasks. Every Tasker arrived on time, completed the job as expected, and provided a great overall experience.

I was disappointed with the cleaning service, especially considering I paid for two full hours. The bathroom was already generally clean and mainly needed a deep scrub and some light organization above the cabinets. However, about an hour was spent in the bathroom, and the tub and floor were still dirty afterward. The items above the cabinets were also not organized.

The remaining time was spent on the kitchen and living room, which were okay, but neither area felt thoroughly cleaned or refreshed. There was also a mess left on the couch after the cleaner left.

For two hours of paid cleaning, I expected a much more thorough job and attention to detail. Unfortunately, several of the areas that needed the most attention were still unfinished.

The tasker was good and reliable. The only downsize about the app is the chat section. When you click on the link sent by text, it never leads directly to the conversation, which is annoying.

The tasked who did the work was excellent — however, my first tasker didn’t show up, TaskRabbit charged me anyway, and I got stuck in an unhelpful customer service loop trying to fix it. It took me close to two hours to resolve the charge.

Automation is fine, but TaskRabbit would benefit by having an automated system that can actually fix problems (like Amazon), instead of providing vague advice in a loop. The loop I experienced: the chat system told me to collect information on the tasker who did not show up/ the order details, but could not tell me how to ask for a refund or where to submit those details.

Sedat was professional, prompt and polite

Booking process was so-so. The tasker didn't respond until 5 hours later, then said they were booked. I tried another and I wasn't confident in their ability. The third tasker responded immediately and said 'see you at 1pm', very confidently. As a first time user, having no response after booking is not a great experience, however the final task was completed to my satisfaction.
