I signed up for Text Request and was excited to use the service. My account was created on Sunday, and by the very next day (Monday), it was terminated with no prior warning .

The reason given was that they "couldn't verify my business," but I was given zero opportunity to provide documentation or resolve the issue. The timing was also highly suspect—my account was locked immediately after I declined an upgrade during a phone call with their support team.

I paid for a full month of service but received less than 24 hours of access. When I requested a prorated refund, they refused and pointed to their Terms of Service, which state they can terminate accounts at any time for any reason .

Here's the problem with that: their terms say they can terminate, but they do not explicitly state they can keep your money for services they didn't provide. Keeping payment while blocking access the very next day is unjust enrichment, plain and simple.

To make matters worse, their "Customer Success Manager" ignored multiple follow-up emails for days. When I finally received a response, it was a copy-paste legal threat telling me to "contact my bank."

Verdict: Save your time and money. If you run into any issue, they will shut you down immediately, keep your payment, and ignore you. I am now disputing the charge through my bank and filing complaints with the BBB and FTC.

Text Request is great to deal with. They offer a great product and outstanding customer support. If you are not using landline texting for your business, you are really missing out. This is one of our most valuable tools. If you are using this service and not using Text Request, then you are really missing out. Again, the service and the support are truly top-notch. We operate a home services business. So we are in constant communications with customers and field techs. We have an office team of 5. Text Request allows us to collaborate with everyone via text. Multiple CSRs are able to participate in a conversation using 1 text line. We also love the Group message feature for general comms with our field techs. And TextRequest support is fantastic.
